    THOUGHTS FROM BRAD

This Wednesday night, we will celebrate the birth ofour Savior, Jesus Christ. This is always a special wayto gather our focus for Christmas day. Its easy toget caught up in the commercialism of the holidayso take time to stop and reflect with us about thebirth of Jesus. We will begin at 7:00 PM. If you have

not done so already, we encourage you to use thisas an opportunity to invite someone to attend whoneeds a church home. A few weeks ago we askedyou to commit to daily prayer for people you knowwho need to become a Christian. With the New Yearapproaching rapidly, I encourage you to prayfervently, asking God for courage to be moreoutspoken in 2015 with your faith. You can do it!

I hope each of you set aside a copy of the Bible

reading schedule for 2015 that was in last weeksbulletin. If not, we have placed extra copies of it inthe main entrance of the church on the bulletinboard.

Our next scheduled Wednesday night meal will beheld on January 28th. After we eat our meal, we willwatch a film entitled: My Utmost for His Highest:The Legacy of Oswald and Biddy Chambers.Comeenjoy the journey of ones mans life living for the

Lord. More details to come about the meal inupcoming articles.

On February 4, 2015, we will begin a newWednesday night study in the fellowship hallentitled: To Live is Christ, to Die is Gain.Whetheryou are new to the faith, or seasoned as a saint, this study is for you. It is my goal to move us alltoward a deeper maturity in our walk with Christ. We will start each Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.

Final thought: I found this definition of family yearsago and I think it has value in our biological andchurch families. A family resembles a pair ofshears, so joined that they cannot be separated, often moving in opposite directions, yet alwayspunishing anyone who comes between them.

    In His Service,

    Brad

    BITS FROM BRO. DAVE

A GREAT GATHERING: We had a final couof 47 attending our KeenAgers lunch oThursday (12/11). I thank each of you whparticipated. A special note of thanks goes Sue for helping with preparations (especially thsoup.) I, also, wish to thank Josh and Andre

for their demonstration of self-defense fseniors. At the encouragement, from the grouI did promise to continue planning some senievents for 2015. Seniors Saints in the Smoki(Knoxville) and New Horizons Retre(Zanesville) will be two major events.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY: On Decemb17 we completed our study of Titus. Sen

studies are suspended for the time beinWatch for announcements regarding futuplans or programs.

PREACHING DECEMBER 28: Next SundaDecember 28, I will be filling in for Brad, at thmorning worship hour. On that evening, LowTrimmer will be leading us in one of thosspecial all musical evenings featuring a lot congregational singing and special music.

FINAL THOUGHT: No two people are exacalike and chances are both of them are happabout it.
