Here we are at Christmas again...the time of year which should be peaceful, worshipful, focused on Christ. Most years though, our busy, cluttered, crowded lives become even more so. We leave home excited about buying gifts for others, but then get impatient
with sales clerks in the stores or the drivers in the cars ahead of us. Many times, we find ourselves frantically wrapping packages only
moments before they will be ripped open! Busy, crowded, stress-filled lives! This year...take time to kneel at the manger with
Mary and Joseph. Rejoice and spread the Good News with the shepherds. Worship and adore Jesus with the wise men.
“When we needed a King, He left Heaven’s throne. When we didn't know Him, He loves us as His own. From the praises of glory he
came here all alone. Unto us a Child is born.” (from the song, “When We Needed a King”)
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

Minister of Music

SHOW YOU CARE
As you look at Jesus’ ministry and teachings, He
constantly talked about and demonstrated God’s
love for all people. His response to the
Pharisees was to obey the greatest
commandment in the law.
Matthew 22:37 “Love the Lord your God
with all your heart and soul and mind. Love
your neighbor as yourself.”
How will you and your family show your
Christian love and concern to others during this
Christmas Season and into the New Year 2015?
Ideas to Consider:
Food for the Food Pantry; Coats/Blankets/
Toboggans for the homeless; Homemade Soup
for the sick, shut-ins or homeless; Help with
Meals on Wheels; Give a donation to the Church
Benevolence Fund for families in need; Assist
the Handymen and Women in projects for the
elderly; Visit, Phone Calls and handwritten notes
to let someone know they are not alone; and
probably the most important...PRAY, PRAY,
PRAY. No matter what season we are in, prayer
is an appropriate way to show you care!
This Holiday Season and in the New Year, may
the world see Jesus as we show we care!
Be Blessed!
Pastor Mike
