The HCG Story...The story of HCG began in the Fifties when, after having done research on weight loss for 40 years and research on HCG specifically for twenty years, Dr. Simeons reported that patients taking small amounts of HCG, in conjunction with a very low calorie diet, could lose weight safely and quickly, without exercise, hunger, irritability, muscle injury or weakness.

But all HCG is not created equal. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of confusion created by products being sold without guidance that call themselves “HCG” but do not contain any in their ingredient list. HCG is one of 67 hormones naturally produced in the human body, so if a product states that it is hormone free; it is not HCG. Dr. Simeons’ diet protocol ought not to be followed without real HCG. The Pounds and Inches Away program starts with pharmaceutical HCG.

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is not a growth or sex hormone; it does not feminize men or masculinize women. It is not an appetite suppressant, stimulant or vitamin supplement. Nor does HCG produce weight loss by itself. However, in concert with a very specific balanced diet, and our help in avoiding unexpected environmental or behavioral deviations, HCG will allow the body to naturally pull the nutrients and calories needed from stored fat reserves into the blood stream at the rate of 1500 to 4000 calories per day.

We are sure that those who follow our protocol WILL lose 20-30 pounds in 40 days. These fantastic results ARE typical with our full service packages. The Pounds and Inches Away program is not your run of the mill “eat less and exercise more” diet for a slow loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week that seems to take

the rest of your life. Our protocol tricks Mother Nature a little, maybe, however only natural processes are at work. Per Dr. Simeons, it is safe and so very effective.

At Pounds and Inches Away, we are also excited to be able to offer Whole Body Vibration technology by Advanced Healthworks to help people reach their goals. Ten minutes on our “Jiggy” machine produces benefits comparable to those gained in a one-hour workout without the sweat and effort of traditional exercise. More than 700 medical studies have been published about the health benefits of Whole Body Vibration. These benefits include improved circulation, increased muscle strength and flexibility, better core conditioning, improved range of motion, enhanced metabolism, increased bone density, and more. The Whole Body Vibration technology has also been used to improve problems with osteoporosis, diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, incontinence, arthritis, Parkinson’s’ disease and other conditions. We encourage the use of these machines for their wonderful skin tightening effects.

To get slim and stay that way, call our office at (317) 849-THIN today. We will help you reach your weight loss goals and improve your health, appearance and self-image. Nothing tastes as good as THIN feels…

The secret to flat abs is in treating your entire body as a unit. The abs are your body's center of power and provide strength for your core. Strong abs help with good posture, prevent lower back injuries, help with balance, and provide power for many sports.

Many people make the mistake of doing hundreds of repetitions in hopes of obtaining a flat stomach. If you want to "see" your abs, the key is to burn more fat. You will not burn many calories doing crunches. The most effective aerobic exercises for burning calories are running, rowing, swimming, jumping rope, and elliptical work.

The abdominals are not the largest muscles in the body; therefore they are not the most efficient at burning calories and lowering body fat. The large muscles exercises include the glutes (largest muscle), along with the

quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves. Choosing exercises that include these muscles are key to burning more calories and lowering body fat.

Resistance exercises are highly effective as well. Kettle bell swings, squats, dead lifts, burpees, box jumps, lunges, pushups, pull ups, Olympic lifts, and sled pushing or pulling are all highly effective at efficiently burning calories.

Aim to do abdominal work 3-4 times per week. I like to incorporate the aerobic exercises with the resistance exercises I listed above in a circuit that results in an amazingly effective workout that yields fantastic results.

At Women Changing Lives, we believe to change your life you need to create your life’s vision; to see your life’s infinite possibilities. That requires thinking BIG. What better way to think big, than to create your Bucket List and start marking items off this list.

What is a Bucket List? It’s your wish list of “to do’s” before you die otherwise known as “kick the bucket”. In 2008, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman starred in the movie, The Bucket List, about two terminally ill men trying to fulfill their Bucket Lists. Long before this movie came out, I made my list of 100 things I wanted to do before I die. Periodically I review my list and continue to cross items off the list.

Do you have a written Bucket List? If so, how are you doing? How many items have you crossed off your list? If not, start one. Write down everything you would like to do. No Limits! It can be as simple as read something positive every day to go zip-lining to travel to Hawaii (all now marked off my list). Write down everything you can think of. Open your mind to the idea that anything is possible.

I am sure that some of you will never create a Bucket List because you don’t believe you can complete the items on your list due to your current situation, whether financial or personal. Others will make the list, proceed to mark some of them off, and then realize you don’t have the financial means to complete many items. That’s where Women Changing Lives can help.

Women Changing Lives specializes in mentoring professionals in the creation of true financial independence by applying a cutting-edge and brilliant business model. The company we partner with has over $1 billion in annual sales and is debt-free and only 27 years old. We train, support and mentor new business developers to create permanent financial satisfaction so you too can cross the items off your Bucket List. We help you live a life where time and money no longer govern every decision.

Don’t wait; contact Karen today so you too can have fun completing your list. For more information, contact Karen Caprino-Burg at

Last month we talked about how frightening it can be when your life feels out of control. Life can feel so cumbersome and overwhelming when you are in a job you don't like, or if you are rearing a difficult kid who is making poor decisions, or when you are dealing with a spouse who is non communicative or isolated. You know the scenario, you believe that you have done everything possible to activate a positive outcome but your drug addicted child who has been through treatment seems to have gotten nothing out of the treatment. Or your disengaged husband refuses to go to church or counseling despite your neutral requests or your badgering. Maybe you hate your job and you have sent out over 30 resumes and you are not even getting responses back. You have paid for career counseling, you have networked and shared with all your friends and family what you would like in a new job but it is as if the economy has stifled you from being able to go after your dreams.

It may feel like you have very few options when life becomes that stressful. Maybe you have tried everything and literally it seems like nothing is working for you . This is often when I ask women to practice reframing and faith. When nothing seems to be working you need to continue to create action plans but inevitably you also need to increase belief that things are working out exactly the way it was intended and you need to remind yourself how you might be growing stronger and how you might continue to practice having more faith.

Homework

Think about a stressful situation that you are currently facing in your own life.

Perhaps you have tried everything to turn it around or to make it better to no avail. These kind of circumstances call for drastic measures and the drastic measure is to practice surrender and faith. Think about

it.....how would your life be different if you emanated faith that things were going to work out for the best no matter what the issues. You actually walked around telling yourself that it was all going to work out because you believe that you have done everything possible and now you are going to practice the greatest of spiritual practices by having faith that everything that happens has a purpose and that purpose serves a higher good for the people who are struggling. That really can take some practice to put that into place and let go of the feelings and the anxiety that accompanies unchartered territories.

Instead of going into the normal attitude of nothing ever works out for me or life is too darn hard and I am tired of the struggle...you move into a shift of belief in three powerful tools.

Surrender: When you know you have done everything, you get to take a step back and just breathe and believe that you are exactly where you need to be.

Faith: This involves having the PMA (positive mental attitude) that things are going to work out for the best.

Reframing: Remind yourself that you ARE growing stronger and this will teach you something about yourself that you need to learn.

Faith

Bio-identical Hormone Pellets for Men and WomenWHAT ARE BIO-IDENTICAL HORMONES?Bio-identical hormones are derived from plants, such as the Mexican wild yam. Hormones made from yams include estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone-which are just like the hormones you produced during your reproductive years.

HOW DOES THAT CONCERN ME?Men and women gradually produce less hormones starting around 35-50 years old. Reduced estrogen symptoms for women may include hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, forgetfulness and osteoporosis. For both men and women, reduced testosterone may cause a lessened interest in sexual relations, inability to achieve satisfactory orgasms, chronic fatigue and osteoporosis.

HOW DO I GET MY HORMONES BACK TO THE LEVELS WHERE I FELT GOOD IN MY 30’s?Gynecologist Dr. David McLaughlin and his Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Kristi Marcella, replace estrogen & testosterone in women, and only testosterone in men. The

goal is to achieve youthful levels by inserting the appropriate pellets under the skin, using local anesthesia, in our office.

HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT AMOUNT IS RIGHT FOR ME?Hormone levels are measured initially, then after the pellet insertions, with the goal to clinically achieve the optimal levels and desired results. Wellness is promoted with appropriate monitoring to reduce untoward side effects and maximize the mild euphoria many patients experience using pellet hormone replacement therapy.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF ESTROGEN &/or TESTOSTERONE PELLETS ARE RIGHT FOR ME?To determine if you are an appropriate candidate for pellet hormone replacement, please call Dr. McLaughlin’s office, TODAY, by dialing 855-433-6827.

START TO LIVE BETTER WITH PELLET HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY!

(Free consultations are available toprospective new patients)

Life is a journey, a highway of seemingly endless possibilities. How do we make the choices each day to live to our full potential? We all have dreams and ambitions, some we are pursuing, others slip away unfulfilled. An essential element to living a purpose driven life, is having many resources, a mentor, a friend, a coach, and a great library to offer guidance and wisdom. A personal development strategy can help shorten your learning curve to allow you to achieve the success you desire.

I have always been an avid reader. Growing up in Maxwell, Indiana, I spent many hours under a tree or in front of the fireplace simply enjoying the adventures found in books. I dreamed of traveling the world, and doing something great with my life! When I was in my early 20’s, I met my first mentor, a very successful business owner. He encouraged me to Dream Big and gave me the book “The Greatest Salesman in the World” by Og Mandino – this book equipped me with the motto “I will persist until I succeed” and I then began my own personal growth journey.

Several years later, someone gave me a CD by Jim Rohn. On the CD, Mr. Rohn asked the question “do you want more?” Yes, I said out loud, I want more…success, money, a better body, more travel, etc. His answer has changed my life! Jim continued, “if you want to have more… you have to BECOME more.” He said, “success is not a doing process, it is a becoming process. What you do, what you pursue, will allude you, it can be like chasing butterflies. Success is something you attract by the person you become.” “Wow,” I thought. The simplicity and purity of his message grabbed my heart. Jim continued, “for things to improve, you have to improve. For things to get better, you have to get better. For things to change, you have to change. When you change, everything changes for you.”The greatest investment you can make in life is in your own

personal development. Becoming a person of value, prepares you for success! How much time, energy, effort and money do you invest in your own personal development? Self improvement is important, it has been said that we become the books we read, the people we listen to and the activities in which we participate in life. Success in life is a decision; you become what you decide.

Experience is important, as long as it is somebody else’s experience – this is called wisdom. Read a book! I remember when I was pregnant with my first child, Nicolas, I read every book on expecting a baby, giving birth, and how to feed, bathe, and take care of babies, everything that I could get my hands on! Now, four kids later and an entrepreneur, I’m reading books on “How to Have a New Kid by Friday”! and “The Business of the 21st Century!”

I believe you must take on the Leadership role of your life, if not you, then who? Is it possible to strategically design your life? YES! Listen to your heart and start today! We do have a choice, let life happen to us or create a life of purpose on purpose!

I invite you on such a journey - the journey of continuous personal development. The important thing is to Live your Best Life Now and to enjoy the Journey!
