Quality Engineers Rockford Area, Have to have automotive experience. Contract positions for

approximately 6-12 months.

Certified Inspector Manufacturing environment. Permanent position on first shift. Should be familiar with

measurement instruments, ISO requirements, and documentation. Salary to 50K.

Quality Engineer This is 4-6 month contract position. Aerospace industry. Minimum of 5-10 years

aerospace experience. Familiar with internal audit, should have FAA certification experience and open to working all shifts.

Customer Quality Engineer Full time position: In this position, the individual will be responsible for the

development and maintenance of customer specification compliance documents. The selected candidate will coordinate the review and documentation of customer requirements and the method of compliance to their requirements. In addition, an additional resource is needed to support the additional NPI work and the increase in workload that has resulted from a change by the DCMA that is requiring the QE to perform detailed reviews of processes.

Job Requirements Experience reading, interpreting, and document compliance of customer specifications within the aircraft/aerospace industry is necessary. High School graduate or 4 year technical degree required. (preferred: Bachelors in Mechanical / Electrical / Aviation Engineering).

Quality Engineers McHenry County, Need 3 persons with various levels of skills. Light manufacturing

facility. Positions are both contract and permanent. Must have a BS in Engineering. Skill sets that are a must include; ISO experience, statistical tool knowledge, AIAG tools. Ideally will have lean and 6 sigma experience.

Quality Engineer Medical device industry. Must have good process validation experience in the medical,

THEIR OPPORTUNITY - Our client has an opportunity for a Quality Engineer. You will work with engineers and as part of cross-functional product development team. The team is responsible to ensure APQP activities are being executed in accordance with defined requirements of OEM customers such as Ford, Chrysler, GM and Cummins. You will be a key contributor to the team, personally putting together gauging, control and mistake proofing plans. You will work closely with their supplier quality engineer to ensure sourced components for new and existing programs are produced in a manner, which guarantees 25ppm or less quality and delivery. They will look to you to review supplier control plans and provide value added improvements where you see opportunities to do so. You will get to lead meaningful DFMEA and PFMEA exercises with cross-functional teams and then independently review the results with customer supplier development personnel.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering · 3-5 years working in a quality group in a Quality Engineering role· Experience working with precision machined components and medium level complexity assemblies

(10 to 20 parts making up an assembly). Good examples are small to mid size pumps, motors and electromagnetic devices

· Works with TS16949 Automotive Quality Systems and knows what is needed to satisfy customer and certification audits

· Comfortable executing capability studies on components and assemblies · Fluent in GD&T and can read and understand GD&T drawings · Understands and can personally produce Gage R&R's · Comfortable working with data using mini-tab or similar tools · Solid problem solver who has a clear process for assessing a problem, developing an action plan, and

executing on the plan using data to identify and implement solutions

Supplier Quality Engineer (2) 1st shift positions: The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) position has a strong understanding of

Quality methods and systems. The SQE is responsible for implementation and execution of methods and programs to ensure that suppliers have systems that meet specifications and standards. This position interfaces with the sourcing team and communicates direction to suppliers on issues such as; quality performance improvement, part approval process, sampling plans, inspection methods, measurement system analysis, statistical process control contract reviews, problem investigations, evaluation of quality systems, and product transition activity. Essential Functions:

• Executes quality portion of MRB / non-conformance product issues using established systems • Execute Quality tools that apply to the product and suppliers assigned. Quality Engineering tools such as: contract review, sampling plans, auditing principals, SPC, MSA, First Articles, FMEA, PFMEA, calibration systems, etc to understand and ultimately resolves issues in the supply base. • Applies demonstrated understanding of the relevant product or customer specifications, flow down documents, procedures, engineering or process drawings and regulating agent body requirements that apply to the products and suppliers assigned • Issues, monitors and maintains corrective action database • Works effectively with internal customers and external suppliers to resolve problems using Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) tools • Analyze supplier performance data to determine continuous improvement opportunities to improve supplier performance. • Utilizes available data to establish schedules and perform required audits of assigned suppliers • Maintains accurate and current supplier quality records, such as supplier audits, certifications, corrective action responses, and database screens • Participate with the Sourcing team to select and manage assigned suppliers • Travel to assigned suppliers, as necessary (domestic and international) • Work and lead multiple projects effectively to closure • Executes established Quality plan for assigned suppliers, based upon:

•Type and complexity of product being procured•Quality history of supplier•Requirements placed upon items•Level of suppliers demonstrated process control•Participates in continuous improvement activities

Other Functions:

• May mentor less experienced SQE's and supplier Quality Techs, as required. • Participate and lead CI teams for internal process development.• Lead's directs and manages multiple projects effectively.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work at all levels • Team player • Self-starting, minimal supervision required • Detail oriented • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Strong facilitation skills • Solid understanding of AS9100, ISO-9000/2000, QS-9000 and/or TS-16949 • Knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement Methodologies (6 Sigma, Lean Mfg. etc.) • Solid understanding and previous experience conducting supplier quality audits. • Greenbelt preferred

Experience:

• 4+ years quality experience in manufacturing processes and quality systems.• Familiarity of PPAPs, Technical/Manufacturing background, Experience with Suppliers, Audit experience preferred.

Education/Formal Training:

• 4 year degree in technical field or 5-7 years of quality, manufacturing, or process control experience. • Greenbelt preferred, Blackbelt desired. • ASQ certification a plus
