Leadership

Chemung County Democratic Committee- -Worded in the State Committee for the past 3 ½ years carrying proxy votes for members who could not attend. -Served as the 1st Vice Chair for two Terms of the Towns -Served on the fundraising committee and was instrumental in planning the first ever picnic in 2019 -Advocated for the committee to be involved in the Chemung County Fair where we have proudly had a booth for the past three years -Canvassed for every local/state/national candidate with signatures, door to door, or donations -Served as a delegate for the Supreme Court Judges now two times -Founding member of the Horseheads Democratic Committee -Proudly chosen to be a Bernie Sanders Delegate in New York State in 2020. -Marched in the Women’s March in Washington, Seneca Falls and Elmira. Also marched in the Climate Change Marches in NYC, Washington 3X, and attended Bernie Sanders Climate Summit in Washington in Dec of 2018. -Ran for and received 44% of the vote in my County Legislature Seat District 3-Village of Horseheads. I promise to run again. -Learned from the best-Ruth Young and Charles Young NYPAN SFL- -Founding member of NYPAN which stands for New York Progressive Action Network. -Currently Serve on the Executive Committee -We work hard for the platforms that we fight to make realities. The platform issues we have marched for are the Green New Deal, Health Care for All, Living Wage at a minimum of $15.00 per hour, Strong Unions, Strong Schools, affordable housing, and free Community and State College for all.
