Over the next couple of weeks every child will be assessed by teachers to see how well they are doing. Teachers will use the assessments to inform next steps in planning and teaching so it is crucial that your child does not miss these tests. School is having more building work done to keep it in good repair so scaffolding will be going up on the nursery side of the site. Builders are very use to working on school sites and every safety precaution has been taken to ensure children are safe. The works on the roof will take several weeks. We look forward to seeing many of you at the Christmas Fayre. Mrs Dennis ONLINE SAFETY TIP The internet is an amazing place for children to learn, play, create and connect. But there are also risks. That’s why O2 and the NSPCC have teamed up to offer free advice and support to parents. You can speak to Guru’s either over the phone or in the O2 stores. You don't even need to be an O2 customer!!! For more information visit: https:// www.o2.co.uk/help/nspcc Y5 Visit to national Space Centre Last week Year 5 visited the National Space Centre in Leicester, they discovered six galler- ies including the iconic Rocket Tower and the UK's largest dome planetarium where they watched a short film all about the Night Sky. Their day was crammed, full of space suits, rockets, satellites and meteorites. They visited Into Space, Our Solar System, The Sir Pat- rick Moore Planetarium and The Universe before they were able to go along to the gift shop and splash out on some lovely space treats. A huge well done to all the children that displayed exceptional behaviour on the day and wore their Benson badge with pride!

Dear parents/carers,

Just three weeks left of the autumn term and children continue to work hard.

Over the next couple of weeks every child will be assessed by teachers to see

how well they are doing. Teachers will use the assessments to inform next steps

in planning and teaching so it is crucial that your child does not miss these

tests.

School is having more building work done to keep it in good repair so

scaffolding will be going up on the nursery side of the site. Builders are very

use to working on school sites and every safety precaution has been taken to

ensure children are safe. The works on the roof will take several weeks.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the Christmas Fayre. Mrs Dennis
