Dear Media Partner,Thank you for requesting more information about Gear Tie™ reusable
rubber Twist Ties! We are really excited about the amazing demand
for the Gear Tie product line. as per your request, we have enclosed
samples for you to use and share.
Besides the thousands of uses (see right panel), there are several more
interesting story angles about Gear Tie:
Product Launch: Our product will go to market on September 1, 2010.
There will be three ways to purchase Gear TieS: Menards® retail stores,
amazon.com,® or our website www.geartie.com. We are actively seeking
other retailers to carry our Gear Tie line of products.
Pent up Demand: although our product is not yet available, the amount of
pre-sale traffic has exceeded all expectations. The number of daily requests
has been remarkable.
Made in America: With most consumer products today being manufactured
abroad, Gear Tie is committed to manufacturing our reusable rubber Twist
Ties right here in the United States. Our labor and raw material suppliers are all
based in america. Our packaging assembly is done by workers with disabilities.
it is our intent to be a laboratory and a blueprint for other future american
inventors who want to produce and retain american jobs. Our website will
cross promote all of our vendors and partners across the United States.
New Small Business: The inventor of the product is also in charge of
manufacturing, sales, and operations. This is not another product made by one
of the large american manufacturers using foreign goods and foreign labor.
The Idea Story: The idea was developed by Dan Martinson, a former rubber
products manufacturer for OeMs throughout North america. Dan wanted to
create a useful, low cost tool that was more convenient than a bungy cord.
after months of experimentation and development, he knew it was a hit after
a stranger offered him $10 for a set of two at a local motorcycle dealership!
all Gear Tie product photos and company logos can be downloaded at the
