Gamepind isfocusing data subscribers where a data subscribers can get handpicked Games featured if they use anAndroid Phones under different genres to choose from. Subscribers will be able to downloadunlimited exciting games.

Airtel’s all new service innovation mPaper is a step in this verydirection. Availing the mPaper service, Airtel customers can access news provided by differentnewspapers via SMS, WAP or USSD --- similar to the experience of a physical newspapersubscription.The Airtel mPaper subscription service currently includes Prothom Alo, Kaler Kantho,Bangladesh Protidin and Daily Sun News. Other leading dailies to be added to this list include TheDaily Star, The Independent, and New Age BD. As an added advantage, mPaper is agnostic ofUnicode support and allows customers with all handset types to easily access Bangla news directlyfrom their mobile phones.

All customers are eligible for up to 3 SMSes every day and upto 3 news headlines per news alert. For WAP users, a Download/Save Bookmark will be provided for the customer to easily download and save it in a handset and the Download/Save Bookmark can be used to access the latest news from the newspaper.

Pahela Boishakh, the first day of the Bengali calendar, was celebrated to welcome theBengali new year of 1420 in a more joyous manner by organizing “Alpona” like the previousyear . On July 22, 2013 the high capacity terrestrial optical fiber link between India andBangladesh has gone LIVE. The link, which extends from Bongaon in West Bengal (India) tothe Petrapole - Benapole border, will enhance voice & data connectivity between the twocountries as well as transit traffic between Bangladesh and the rest of the world. Inaddition, the link will provide a robust network infrastructure and high bandwidth tosupport the anticipated data thrust in Bangladesh, with the upcoming 3G services.Chris Tobit, CEO, Airtel Bangladesh Limited said, “This commencement of terrestrial opticalfiber connection between India and Bangladesh will be a key catalyst for Bangladesh’s futuregrowth in Telecommunication. This will enable Bangladesh to connect to the rest of theworld with improved voice quality and high speed data.”Connected to Airtel’s state-of-the-art domestic and global network, the cable offersseamless connectivity to enterprise and carrier customers for transiting traffic betweenBangladesh and key business hubs like Singapore, London, Chennai, Mumbai & Los Angelesvia India. Airtel Bangladesh ltd. introduce a new offer for their customers in Bangladesh that willenable talk-time at reduced rates.

A start-up customer will be able to avail a very attractive call rate of 1.1paisa/second (BDT0.66 per minute with 1 second pulse) to any local operator for 15 days including the rechargeday if the customer recharges BDT 11 after activating the new Airtel prepaid connection.After 15 days, customers will retain their regular tariff plan. This tariff rate is available for theexisting customers as well.

Besides the tariff, start-up customers would also avail 11 minutes for Airtel to Airtel voice callalong with 11 SMS for Airtel to Airtel and 11 MB data as a bonus for every recharge of BDT 11or more in this special offer.

Airtel mobilecustomers can now access the popular Facebook application on their mobile devices free of cost,giving them an affordable and convenient way to stay connected with their online contacts whileon the move. Airtel customers simply have to log on to 0.facebook.com from their mobiledevices for free access to Facebook. 0.facebook.com has all the key features of the standardmobile site m.facebook.com and customers can Update their Status, View their News Feed, Likeor Comment on posts, Send and Reply to Messages, or Write on their Friends' Wall just as theydo on Facebook.com.

No data charges will be levied foraccessing 0.facebook.com. However,customers will have to pay applicabledata charges if they want to viewphotos/video links on Facebook orwhile browsing other sites over theirmobile devices.

Airtel Bangladesh Ltd had signed a corporate agreement with Securex (Pvt) Ltd; arenowned security service company operating since 1988, on April 17, 2013 at thecorporate office of Airtel. Under this agreement, Securex will avail corporate mobilesolutions from Airtel. Chief Financial Officer of Airtel Bangladesh Ltd S.K.Mukhopadhyay and CEO of Securex (Pvt) Ltd Farhan Quddus signed the contract onbehalf of their respective organizations.

Airtel Bangladesh Ltd. signed an agreement with ACI Logistics Limited through which Shwapno, thelargest retail chain in the country, a venture of ACI becomes a distributor of Airtel services. This will nowenable Airtel customers to avail recharge facilities at 40 outlets of Shwapno and 10 ACI Panasonic stores.These stores will also offer mobile banking merchants and agents services. Airtel customers having DBBLmobile accounts can make payments through mobile wallet while shopping at any of these stores andavail other mobile banking facilities like cash in, cash out etc.

Airtel in partnership with ShurjoMukhi has launched an online recharge facility for its customers.ShurjoMukhi’s PayPoint is adding up to the array of online payment portals for Airtel customers inBangladesh. With this collaboration, Airtel customers will be able to recharge their accounts fasterand safer which will make their lives easier. To avail this service, customers will have to registerthemselves by visiting www.payPoint.com.bd. Customers will also select their desired paymentoption and provide card information as required by the bank gateway. Payment can be madethrough VISA and Master Card, DBBL Nexus Card, Q-Cash Card, bKash, and DBBL mobile wallets.The entire transaction process is secure with digital certification and encryption.
