Transcript of Dear Friends, - Texoma Health Foundation Friends, t is our pleasure to present the 2010 Annual...
Dear Friends,
t is our pleasure to present the 2010 Annual Report of the Texoma Health Foundation. This past
year the Foundation finished several key goals and milestones. We completed construction and
opened a new foundation office with an expanded Reba’s Ranch House. An additional milestone
came with the first rotation of board members since THF became an independent public foundation
in January of 2007. Three outstanding board members and leaders in our community finished their
board terms in 2010. We are pleased to introduce our three new members in this year’s report. In
addition, we had our first rotation in our Executive Committee. THF ‘s first Chairman, Herman Ringler
has devoted countless hours to the Foundation, and we thank him for his continued leadership and
dedication.
Over the past four years, THF’s Board and staff have focused on assuring that the foundation is struc-
tured to operate from investment income and therefore be here for future communities. We have also
had a consistent focus on efficiencies and disclosure. THF is one of the sixty-one percent of conver-
sion foundations in the U.S. that chooses to report to the community each year through the publi-
cation of an annual report. We strive to share our progress in detail, yet provide the information in
straightforward reporting. We hope you enjoy this year’s format, which incorporates a 2012 calendar.
We are privileged to serve Texoma and lead the THF Board of Trustees and staff. Our team is com-
prised of men and women living in our service area, in addition to a permanent seat for Reba McEn-
tire. THF and Reba share a vision in working to help make Texoma a better place to live, work and raise
our families.
We greatly appreciate the hard work and continued commitment of the Foundation’s partners, sup-
porters and volunteers. Your contributions allow the Foundation to have an even greater impact on
the health of our communities today and tomorrow.

The two weather vanes that sat atop the original Reba’s Ranch House since
its opening in 1992 now rest over the guest wing of the
new house. The vanes were gifted by Mr. Wilcox as a
