Dear Friends, The Bethlehem NAACP’s 73rd Annual Freedom Fund Banquet will be held at The Meadows, 1770 Meadows Drive, Hellertown, PA 18055, Sunday, February 18, 2018. A reception will begin at 2:30 pm with the buffet dinner at 3:00 pm. The 2018 theme is “Pursuing Liberty in the Face of Injustice.” Our keynote speaker for this special occasion will be M. Rayah Levy, Head of Adult Services, Bethlehem, PA Injustice throughout America and more importantly our local communities reigns high. The face of our nation has changed since the election of the current president of the United States. The country seems to be in racial reverse being promoted by much adversity, hate, discord and racism which tends to permeate our communities. African Americans have and continue to make significant contributions in all areas of the arts.
