Masa Shivaratri is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Masa Shivaratri will be celebrated in every month according to Hindu lunar calender. Masa Shivaratri or Mas Shivratri falls on the Krishna-Paksha Chaturdasi of each traditional Hindu lunar month. Krishna-Paksha is the dark fortnight of a lunar month.
Masa Shivaratri is also referred as Maas Shivratri. It is the 13th day after Purnima or simple calculation is two days before Amavas. Lord Vishnu loves Ornamentation and lord Shiva loves Abhishekas.
Lord Shiva gives bless people quickly compared to others, that's the reason why we have more temples for Lord Shiva.
The Sundar Kand forms the heart of Valmiki's Ramayana and consists of a detailed, vivid account of Hanuman's
adventures. After learning about Sita, Hanuman assumes a gargantuan form and makes a colossal leap across
the ocean to Lanka. Here, Hanuman explores the demon's city and spies on Ravana. He locates Sita in Ashoka
grove, who is wooed and threatened by Ravana and his rakshasis to marry Ravana. He reassures her, giving
Rama's signet ring as a sign of good faith. He offers to carry Sita back to Rama, however she refuses, reluctant to
allow herself to be touched by a male other than her husband. She says that Rama himself must come and
avenge the insult of her abduction.
Hanuman then wreaks havoc in Lanka by destroying trees and buildings, and killing Ravana's warriors. He allows
himself to be captured and produced before Ravana. He gives a bold lecture to Ravana to release Sita. He is
condemned and his tail is set on fire, but he escapes his bonds and, leaping from roof to roof, sets fire to
Ravana's citadel and makes the giant leap back from the island. The joyous search party returns to Kishkindha
with the news.

Krittika -- Kartikeya Abhishek
6:30PM to 7:30PM
Krittika Nakshathram
Karthikeya swamy’s Special Archana/arthi
In Hindu mythology, the god Murugan(Skanda/Subrahmanya/Kartikeya) was raised by the six sisters known as
the Kṛttikā and thus came to be known as Kārtikeya (literally "Him of the Kṛttikā"). According to the Mahābhārata,
Murugan was born to Agni and Svāhā, after the latter impersonated six of the seven wives of the Saptarṣi and
made love to him. The Saptarshi, hearing of this incident and doubting their wives' chastity, divorced them.
These wives then became the Kṛttikā.
In Hindu astrology, Kṛttikā is the third of the 27 nakṣatras. It is ruled by Kārtikeya.

Punarvasuv
Ram Parivar Abhishek in Balaji Annex
This is the birth nakshatra of Lord Rama. The word Punarvasu is derived from Puna+ Vasu, which means return, renewal, restoration or repetition. The 12 Adityas were born of Kasyapa in the womb of Aditi. The 12 Adityas are Indra, Vishnu, Vaga, Twasta, Varuna, Aryama, Pusa, Mitra, Agni, Parjyanya, Vivaswan and Dinakar. The mother Aditi of whom the Gods are born is the repository of everything good-truth, generosity, magnanimity, purity,
aristocracy, beauty and renown. It follows that this star is the cause for these virtues. To start afresh after having once broken off, to start a new life, to come back from a distant land-all. Punarvasu signifies these. It stands for
freedom from restriction and limitation, and boundless space.

May Friday 29th 07.00 PM Nirjala Ekadashi
The date for Nirjala Ekadashi in 2015 is May 29. Considered as the most difficult, powerful, and strict Ekadashi among all the 24
Ekadashis, Nirjala Ekadashi is highly rewarding.
Nirjala Ekadashi is a holy day that is observed on Ekadashi Tithi. According to the Hindu calendar, Nirjala Ekadashi is observed on
the eleventh day of Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) during the Jyeshta month. As per Gregorian calendar, it falls in the month of May
or June. Nirjala Ekadasi Vrat is the most powerful and strict among all the 24 Ekadashi Vrats of the year. This Ekadasi differs from
other Ekadashis, as Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat does not allow the devotees to consume even a single drop of water for the whole day i.e.
24 hours.
On this Nirjala Ekadashi , worship Lord Vishnu and observe Nirjala Ekadasi fast to achieve longevity, happiness, salvation, wealth,
and prosperity.
Though Nirjala Ekadashi is not easy to observe, still performing it with the right rituals can open doors of success for you. Observe
Nirjala Ekadasi and get the blessings of Lord Vishnu along with the washing off all your evils. If you are not able to observe the other
Ekadasi Vrats of this year, then Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat can help you in compensating for each one of them.
