Dear 1st Grade Parents, This Summer Work Packet was created for you
and your child to work on throughout the
summer. It is very important that your child
continues to practice the skills they learned in
first grade to better prepare them for second
grade next year.
In this packet, you will find a Summer Writing
Journal, Daily Spiral Math Review, a Book Log,
and a list of all the First Grade Sight Words.
Be sure to go to the library throughout the
summer so that your child is able to read as
often as possible. There are also a variety of
learning websites and apps your child can play on
to help keep them ready for the upcoming school
year.
Thank you for working with your child this
summer. Have a fun and safe summer vacation!
See you next year!
Mrs. George and Mrs. Hunter
