Flip Flop Shops, Inc. (770-424-0027) plans to open 236 Flip Flop Shop locations during the next five years, including corporate stores and franchises. The company recently opened a store, through a franchisee, in Baybrook Mall, located at the intersection of Interstate 45 and Bay Area Boulevard in Webster, TX. The stores feature a full line of flip flops, including those from the Reef, Hurley, O’Neil, Roxy, Flojos and Sanuk brands, at prices ranging from $20 to $100.

L.L. Bean, Inc. (207-552-3028) will open an L.L. Bean store at Eastview Mall, located in Rochester, NY. The store, featuring men’s, women’s and children’s apparel and outdoor equipment, broke ground earlier this month and will open during July 2010.

Western Capital Resources, Inc. (712-322-4020) is planning to open additional Cricket Wireless locations as part of a plan to operate 50 locations by the end of this year and 200 locations by 2011. The company currently operates 35 stores throughout IN, KS, MD, MO, NE and TX, having opened five locations in MD earlier this month, in addition to 55 payday lending outlets located in CO, IA, KS, MT, NE, ND, SD, UT, WI and WY.

Wal*Mart Stores, Inc. (479-273-4000) will open a 150,000 sq.ft. Wal*Mart Supercenter along California Way in Longview, WA. The general merchandise superstore will also feature a full grocery department, drive-thru pharmacy and garden center. The company will break ground on the store next month and plans to open it during the summer of 2010, several months after the company is scheduled to open a Wal*Mart Supercenter in Woodland, WA. The company plans to open or remodel between 142 to 157 locations nationwide during its 2010 fiscal year.

Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. (414-231-5000) will open a Pick ‘n Save supermarket at Wyndham Village, located at the intersection of Highway 100 and Drexel Avenue in Franklin, WI, during November. The site is currently occupied Sendik’s Fine Foods, which will close next month. The opening will be the company’s second Pick ‘n Save location in Franklin.

Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. (800-499-9586) is slated to open 37 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants this year, all within existing markets. The company currently operates 570 units nationwide.

Publix Super Markets, Inc. (863-688-1188) will open three Publix supermarkets in Dothan, AL during 2010. The company plans to open stores at: Northside Mall, located at the intersection of Ross Clark Circle and Montgomery Highway; Cottonwood Corners, located at the intersection of Cottonwood Road and Ross Clark Circle, and Westway, located at the intersection of John D. Odom Road and U.S. 84 West. The Northside Mall and Cottonwood Corners locations will open during October or November 2010, followed by the Westway location. The Northside Mall location will anchor the center and will join Stein Mart, Books-A-Million, Northside Cinemas and Home Depot.

Van Cleef & Arpels S.A. (CH: +41 26 407 9511) will open a Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry boutique at The Streets of Buckhead, a luxury mixed-use center located in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, GA. The store will open with the center during the spring of 2010 and will join Hermes, Christofle, Oscar de la Renta, Loro Piana, Vilebrequin, Bottega Veneta, Etro, John Lobb, Optical Shop of Aspen, Domenico Vacca, Le Colonial, The Capital Grille, Brioni, Japonais and La Goulue.
