• A non-profit organization established in 2002

• Affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa’s Central Diocese (ELCSA CD)

• Committed to being a leading faith-based organization in people-centred health and development services

DAM’s Objectives

• To provide support and counselling for people infected and affected by HIV, AIDS and related conditions

• To develop and provide health educational programmes

• To implement a youth empowerment programme

• Provide affected and infected households with care and support

Home Based Care

• Providing quality healthcare for individuals suffering from HIV and AIDS related diseases

• A holistic approach to healthcare • Support individuals who are often ostracized

by their families after disclosure of status• Work with the hope that the afflicted

individuals can once again be healthy enough to support themselves and their families
