The modernization will be discussed from two perspectives. At first the relationship between the bamboo structure and the designer. The second is bamboo and its cultural identity. By crafting a new definition of bamboo in industrial contexts, specifically with designers and the architectural culture, a new vision of the modern utilizations of bamboo will be opened and a new cultural identity of bamboo will be built in the architectural society. This essay will demonstrate how a harmony of the relationship between bamboo, designer and cultural identity will be the symbol of the modernization of the bamboo. This will be illustrated through the exploration of current architects pioneering with bamboo culture within the architectural context, such as Shigeru Ban and Pouya Khazaeli, and analysing their diverse perception of Bamboo as a material which
