REMOVAL OF FRAME STRUCTURE FROM THE COURTYARD OF THE RUSSELL SENATE OFFICE BUILDING

For approximately the past 16 years, a single story frame structure has occupied a portion of the space

of the Russell Senate Office Building Courtyard . At the time of construction, the paving blocks were

removed and stored no site but all curbs and gutters have remaining in place as well as the drainage

system in the courtyard. Having fulfilled its mission as swing space, members of the Senate have

directed the Architect of the Capitol to remove the building from the premises. Attached are photos that

attempt to capture the current conditions.
