Communications Systems | DCN‑SW Conference Software Main Module

The DCN‑SW Conference Software Main Module is usedas a platform on which all other software modules run.Basic functions are included where others can be addeddepending on the functionality required.

System Overview

The DCN‑SW Conference Software Main Module is buildas a client server solution and consists of four softwarecomponents:

• The server provides management, control andmonitoring of the DCN Next Generation System orDCN Wireless Discussion system.

• The configuration application provides systeminstallation and meeting preparation.

• The operator application provides system monitoringand meeting control.

• The print application provides printing of votingresults.

All DCN‑SW applications can, but not necessary need tobe run on separate computers and integrate seamlesslywith each other. This allows the possibility for assigningfunctionality to different users and/or PCs – for instance,let one or more users configure the set‑up and registerdelegates (configuration application), and another personactually control the meeting on a separate pc (operatorapplication). Contextual help file provides instant supportfor all applications.

Installation/Configuration Notes

LicenseDCN‑SW is license activated and comes which anauthorization code which includes synoptic control withbasic microphone control functionality. Activation is donevia the license website.

The configuration application can be used independent ofthe additional licenses as where the operator applicationdoes need the license to control the conference system.

Running the operator application on a separate PCrequires DCN‑SWMPC.
