EARL SPENCERCharles, the current Earl Spencer inherited Althorp in 1992, aged 27. In his time the house has received a new roof, a reworked exterior, and several major improvements to the house’s infrastructure. A Page of Honour to Queen Elizabeth II,

he was educated at Eton College, before reading Modern History at Magdalen College, Oxford. He then spent seven years as a foreign news reporter for the American television network, NBC. He has written five history books, one of which – Blenheim: Battle for Europe – was shortlisted for History Book of the Year at the 2005 National Book Awards. His latest work, Killers of the King, was the second highest selling History book in Britain during 2014. He is father to five daughters and two sons, and his wife, Karen, is the founder and CEO of Whole Child International, a charity that seeks to protect and help orphaned and abandoned children.

AMBER LEWISWhat started out as a small interior design blog focusing on the documentation of Am-ber’s experiences as a first time homeowner and her passions for all things interiors, has since turned into a successful de-sign-build firm with clients all

over the country, a line of furniture and home goods, an e-commerce business, a brick and mortar retail operation, and a social media following with an audience reach in the millions. As principal at Amber Interior Design and founder of the blog, Amber Interiors, she has garnered clients and followers from around the world. Today Amber Interior Design, Inc. provides designs for everything from large-scale residences to extensive commercial projects. KEN FULKKen is a designer of experi-ences big and small. He is renowned for his layered inte-riors and over-the-top parties. With a team of 50 “magic mak-ers” to help bring his ideas to life, Fulk leads a team of architects, designers, branding and event

specialists in both San Francisco and New York. The Virgin-ia-born designer has spent the last 20 years developing a business from turning his clients’ dreams into reality. Fulk has become the curator of lifestyles, not only designing homes, restaurants and hotels but also choreographing unforgettable weddings, parties and family getaways. In recent years, Ken Fulk has expanded his impact around the globe. In addition to current residential work from Mexico to Miami and Provence to Provincetown, Ken Fulk is mak-ing his mark in New York with a new concept for rental residences on West 38th Street, slated to open this spring. Designed like a boutique hotel with a lobby restaurant and rooftop lounge, the 224-unit building will offer residents a taste of Fulk’s extraordinary experiences, from interior design and party planning to weekly floral market and guest performances.

BROOKE AND STEVE GIANNETTISteve Giannetti is a renowned architect who specializes in the unique combination of classical and modern architecture. Since founding the firm in 1994 he has designed homes around the world for clients in nearly

every architectural style. Steve is now working on homes in California, France, Connecticut, and Nashville. Brooke Giannetti runs the company’s interior design studio and is the author of the design blog, Velvet and Linen. She and Steve are the Authors of the book Patina Style (2011), as well as their second book, Patina Farm (2016), which highlights their home in Ojai, CA. The firm’s work has been published in Veranda, The New York Times, Milieu, Santa Barbara Magazine, and C Magazine, as well as several other publications. LUANN NIGARALuAnn is an award-winning window treatment authority, author, host of one of the most popular podcasts for the design industry, and overall business dynamo. Based in Livingston, New Jersey, LuAnn got her start in 1982 when she, her husband

and cousin purchased a franchise of the Florida-based window treatment company, Window Works. With LuAnn at the helm of sales, they quickly expanded from New Jersey, and became the leading showroom of the more than 120 stores Window Works stores around the country.

DYLAN SELLBERGDylan is an Implementation Specialist at HubSpot in Cambridge, MA. Dylan started his first business at age 11 and has been learning ever since. His day-to-day includes helping HubSpot customers implement software and adopt the inbound marketing methodology. At night,

homes all over the east coast that have ranged from the super modern to very traditional while keeping it true to her style. She loves overseeing the design process from beginning to end. She loves the mixing the tradition of the past with the modern style of the future.

ELIZABETH RALLSAtlanta Homes & Lifestyles Editor-in-Chief Elizabeth Ralls is a 14-year magazine-industry veteran who has covered the shelter category in the Southeast since she began her career. The region’s leading design publication since 1983,

Ralls has been at its helm for the past four years, where she has spearheaded an overhaul of the magazine’s website and digital platforms as well as a new showhouse platform dedicated to exhibiting the work of the region’s design talents.

BARCLAY BUTERASince 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Corona del Mar, California, West

Hollywood, California, and Park City, Utah. In addition to his thriving interior design business, Butera’s most recent venture into licensing includes Bradburn Gallery Home, Castelle, Eastern Accents, Highland House Furniture, and many more.

antique textiles, embroideries and weavings, unconventional furniture, and global art. The result is unique interiors that might recall 1940s glamour or nineteenth-century England.

MAT SANDERSMat Sanders is the Co-founder and Creative Director at Consort—a lifestyle brand that provides original and trend-driven interior design services for an A-list clientele. He now fully commits his time to Consort to focus on the firm’s expansion

to NYC, which is marked by the opening of a design studio and retail shop in the heart of Tribeca in December 2016.

LAUREL BERNLaurel Bern, the founder of The Laurel Home Blog and Laurel Bern Interiors and an award-winning residential interior designer from Bronxville, NY began her career in 1988. In 2012, she started her popular, award-winning blog, Laurel Home.

Laurel says that the first two years, she made “every mistake in the book and then some.” She has learned what it takes to turn one’s blog into a lean-mean-money-making machine.

CONNOR DWYERConnor lives in Atlanta while working on his masters in graphic design at SCAD. He has amassed 76.4k followers on Instagram with his compelling photography. He thinks graphic design and photography for

building brands, but mostly enjoys making people feel loved. Hear how Connor creates inspired Instagram campaigns with powerful results.

FRED BERNSis the only interior design industry business coach and speaker who creates personal bios and other promotional materials for design professionals worldwide. Fred has more than 25 years experience training design

professionals, and creating their online profiles, website and social media copy, blogs and marketing forms. In addition, he offers a wide range of business coaching services.

COURTNEY OF FRENCH COUNTRY COTTAGEWhen she isn’t behind the computer blogging- she works freelance as a photographer and stylist for magazines. Courtney writes the blog French Country Cottage where she shares lifestyle, design, DIY &

the ongoing renovations of her 1940’s cottage. With a style that is a little bit shabby, French country, and a touch of cottage mixed in- she loves the mix of rustic & refined and doesn’t like to follow all those design rules (except for the one about decorating with what you love).

JICKIE TORRESJickie Torres is the editor of Cottages & Bungalows and the Director of Content for the Lifestyle Group of Engaged Media which includes titles such as Atomic Ranch, Romantic Homes, Flea Market Décor and American Farmhouse Style.

In addition to new product development, she is also a photographer and the lead scout/stylist for the group. She has 10 plus years of experience for home/interiors and believes the best rooms have something traditional, something personal and something a little bit scandalous.
