Being Thankful And

What It Will Do For You.

Psa. 100:4 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into

His courts with praise: be thankful unto

Him, and bless His name.”

Psalm 69:30 “I will praise the Name of God with a song, and

will magnify Him with thanksgiving.”

2 Cor. 4:15 “For all things are for your sakes, that the

abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of

many redound to the glory of God.” (redound – contribute in the

end to one’s advantage (Little Oxford Dict.)

IF YOU ARE THANKFUL TO GOD, THEN,

THE BIBLE SAYS, THAT YOU ARE GOING

TO HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF GRACE.

When was the last time you spent some time being

really thankful to God for your present

circumstances?

It’s easy to be thankful if everything is going right

and we then forget to be thankful…but here it says

that you want the abundance of grace manifested to

you, it comes to you through the thanksgiving of

many which will contribute in the end to one’s

advantage (redound) to the glory of God.

Col 3:15 – “And let the peace of God rule in your

hearts… and BE YE THANKFUL…”

These two verses are actually related as YOU

CAN’T HAVE PEACE WITHOUT BEING

THANKFUL.

You might be in the worst circumstances

imaginable and everything is going wrong, but if

you are thankful to God, it will develop peace

within your heart even in the midst of these

circumstances.

Thanksgiving and

multiplication

(of God’s grace, peace and

victory) are directly related

MULTIPLICATION TAKES PLACE

BY THANKSGIVING

THIS IS A LAW OF GOD.

Most Christians forget to be thankful and they

wonder why nothing is turning around in their

lives.

Being thankful releases light and

power and that light and power

reaches the very throne of God

and opens up the supply line

But stop being thankful and the supply line is cut off.

Every day be thankful for your health and when you do,

you open up a supply line of multiplication in the realm of

health back to you

The light generated by our thanksgiving penetrates to the

throne of God and opens up a continuous supply line back

to each of us who is thankful. When you stop being

thankful the supply line ceases.

Everything Is Multiplied By Being Thankful

Health, provision, understanding, love – anything is

multiplied by being thankful for what you have now in

your present circumstances.

It will be multiplied by being thankful.

Being continually thankful releases a power that reaches

to heaven, releases the grace of God into your life so that

you can walk in these things. Remember when Jesus multiplied the bread and fishes in Matt.

15:16? He took them into His hands and He gave thanks unto

God and they multiplied! Jesus was operating within the Spiritual

Law of Multiplication! It is a law of God – it releases the grace of

God into our lives. BEING THANKFUL, NO MATTER WHAT

OUR CIRCUMSTANCES ARE, WILL PROVIDE A CHANNEL OF

GOD TO CHANGE OUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

Remember when Jesus multiplied the bread and fishes in

Matt. 15:16?

He took them into His hands and He gave thanks unto

God and they multiplied!

Jesus was operating within the Spiritual Law of

Multiplication! It is a law of God – it releases the grace of

God into our lives.

BEING THANKFUL, NO MATTER WHAT OUR

CIRCUMSTANCES ARE, WILL PROVIDE A CHANNEL

OF GOD TO CHANGE OUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

This Light That Emanates From Being

This light that emanates from being thankful is so powerful

It becomes a living flame that can enlarge,

It can glorify all conditions in your life – just by being

thankful. Col 1:12 – “Giving thanks unto the Father, which

hath made us (able) to be partakers of the inheritance of the

saints in light…” You clothe yourself in light of various

colors, manifesting certain attitudes. And as that light

increases within your life and begins to enfold in your life,

you begin to walk in it and live in that light. It is your

inheritance gained in light.

But If You Groan, Murmur, Always

Complaining

And say, ‘Everything is going wrong,’ then

self-pity will kick in and you will wrap

yourself in a power, a very dark color which

shuts you off from receiving from God.

In fact, THAT POWER TAKES YOU

FURTHER INTO THAT NEGATIVE THING

and begins to work on the cells of your

body and begins to change you for the

negative side – it is a power! It is a light!

For Most People, When Things Go

Wrong In Their Lives

Most people, when things go wrong in their lives --

tragedies, finances, even long illnesses and other

long-term problems, develop an attitude of

‘Why did God allow this into my life? Why did this

happen to me?’

But there are still things to be thankful for; there are

still people worse off than we are in this world.

That’s why it’s good to take a trip to India or every

now and then

Because you would come back very thankful that

you live in this nation and you would be thankful for

the things that God has done for you.

No matter what the circumstances are, we have to

rise above them and be thankful to God for the

things that are in our life.

UNLESS WE START TO DO THIS, THINGS WILL

NOT CHANGE IN OUR LIFE.

WHICH CLOTHES OUR

BEING

We’re talking about releasing the life

and power of God around us that has

the power to change us

We’re Talking About A Power –

Not Just An Attitude

Something happens in the realm

of the spirit when you are

thankful.

Complaining, love, hate,

jealousy, bitterness, fear,

self-pity, etc. ARE NOT

JUST ATTITUDES - THEY

ARE A POWER, A

SUBSTANCE

Each of these attitudes radiates out

from us as a power or a light – a

force, and is discernable in the

realm of the spirit.

It is a force and YOU CAN BEGIN TO

CLOTHE YOURSELF IN THAT FORCE.

We need to understand and appreciate this

– this light/power around a person clothes

that person in it and draws him/ her further

into it, whether it be negative or positive.

Every trait, good or evil, is manifest this

way. It is not just some abstract attitude.

It is a force, a power, which you can release,

which you clothe yourself in –

see 1John 2:9 – “He that says he is in the light,

and hates his brother, is in darkness even until

now.”

John is talking here to Christians.

If we have a negative attitude in our heart

towards our brother, then we clothe ourselves in

darkness, a color, the power of darkness.

V10 says – “He that loves his brother abides in

the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling

in him.”

It is critical for us to understand some of these

things to move on in God.

Self-pity will envelop

you in its power

The darkness that comes from self-pity as a

force/ power will so clothe you that it will

totally imprison you.

It is not just an attitude, it is a power, it is a

force.

Self-pity Will Envelop

You In Its Power

EVERY EVIL CARRIES ITS OWN DISMAL,

DEPRESSING COLOR (and odor) AND ITS OWN

DISINTEGRATING POWER OR VIBRATIONS.

Luke 11:35 – “Take heed therefore that the light which is

in thee be not darkness (or ‘dark light’).” These are the

words of Jesus!

Every evil trait is manifested as a color, a tone – and it is

destructive and negative.

Unbelief

Unbelief carries with it a veil of

darkness that surrounds the

person. In the spirit, it is

discernable as a color and as a

veil of darkness surrounding or

clothing that person.

BitternessBitterness is so strong.

When a person is manifesting bitterness, such a

power of darkness emanates from them and clothes

them and they begin to physically disintegrate.

Sickness will come and that power begins to take

over the cells of their body – it’s a dark light – it’s the

power of darkness operating on and through that

person!

Unforgiveness

Unforgiveness is the same thing.

Our attitudes all carry their own

vibration, their own power, their

own light discernable as a color.

Every trait, good/evil, is manifested

this way.

Things like love, joy and peace emanate

from us as a power, a light, a force which

begins to transform us and even touches

others….

but we manifest attitudes like negativity, selfishness, anger,

jealousy and bitterness – e.g. jealousy has an awful, rotten

color and it clothes and begins to destroy whoever it is

emanating from as they are taken deeper and deeper into it;

we need to understand these things.

But we manifest attitudes like negativity,

Demons see the negative light that

we emanate and they are drawn to

the dark light that is around us and it

opens up a channel for their access

into our lives of oppression

The problem is that most of us don’t see the light that

we emanate, but angels see it and demons see it and

demons are drawn to the dark light that is around us

and it opens up a channel for access into our lives of

oppression!

It is the Law of Attraction – what you are clothed in, it

will draw you one way or another.

The more you talk about your

negative circumstances, the

more you energize the negative

forces around you; we make our

own prisons

If you are always talking about sickness, you will be surrounded by a color and a power of sickness and infirmity. Stop talking about it! If you are sick, praise God

anyway and be thankful for all the good things in your life. Forget your sickness and it will be changed. THE MORE YOU TALK ABOUT IT, THE MORE YOU ENERGIZE THE NEGATIVE FORCE AROUND YOU. These are very, very simple laws/principles, but most Christians do not do them

WHAT ARE YOU

CLOTHED WITH?

If you manifest anything negative,

You release a dark light which covers

you and it will draw you into it more

and more and

You will manifest that thing and it will

become more and more powerful

Be Thankful To God Or Else You

Can Go Into

Depression, Self-pity

It’s a power – a power of darkness and

You emanate that and it wraps itself around

you and that wrapping becomes a prison to

you and

You can’t break out of it.

WE MAKE OUR OWN PRISONS –

it’s not that God makes these or even the devil –

we make our own prison by what we manifest,

what we give out, what flows from us.

We build our own prisons or we release ourselves

because we release what we are.

YOUR ATTITUDES ARE A POWER WHICH WILL

Isa. 61:3 – “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to

give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for

mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of

heaviness;…..”

Here, the root Heb. ‘atah’ for the ‘garment’ - to wrap in,

to veil.

So it is talking about something you wrap yourself in

when you do certain things.

In the tangible realm of the spirit, you wrap yourself in

something and it can be the glory of God or it can be

dark light.

When you begin to be thankful, begin to praise God,

you begin to wrap yourself in power and in light which

destroys that spirit of heaviness.

In v3 the word here for ‘praise’ in Heb. has a

very unusual meaning.

It is from the root word ‘hallal’ and it means

‘TO SHINE WITH SOUND AND COLOR.’

So as you begin to praise, you’ll begin to

shine with light and color (golden color) and

when you begin to do this, you’ll begin to

wrap yourself in a garment.

You see when you are clothed in

heaviness and depressed and sad

(actually sadness is a sin and is very

destructive), so the power that comes

out of praise is a greater power than that

which comes out of despondency

Happiness is a choice, and if it

depended on circumstances, then

very few people are going to be

happy.

1Thess. 5:16 – “Rejoice evermore,”

v18 – “And in everything give

thanks…”

no matter what the circumstances

are.

Develop daily being

thankful to God in your life

It must become ‘second

nature’ to you….day in and

day out being thankful !

BEGIN TO DEVELOP POSITIVE

ATTITUDES - THEY HAVE THE

POWER TO TRANSFORM US,

TO HEAL US,

TO RESTORE US,

TO CHANGE OUR LIVES!
