Regulations : Deadline for entries is May 20th. Amateurs only may apply.

All vocalist must be judged as part of the act. All contestants must print out all of the song lyrics to any song that will be used during the performance. This must be

included with the entry form. Each group act must identify a group leader that will act as the main contact for the group and is responsible for coordinating

with the talent show committee. Contestants can only be in one act as an adjudicated performer. Each act is limited to a maximum performance time of 3 minutes for solo acts and 5 minutes for group acts. Performances are

also restricted to a total of 3 minutes for set up and breakdown time combined. An official timekeeper will time each act. One point will be deducted from each judges score for every 5 seconds you go over the time 3-minute time limit. No video, PowerPoint or DVD may be used as part of the act No lip-synching is allowed. Singers using CDs must eliminate voices as in a karaoke. CDs must be approved by the talent committee to ensure the quality

of sound. CDs need to be clearly marked with the name of the contestant, age group, track # being used and song title. If you are using props, you must be in charge of placing your own props on stage and props will need to be kept with you at all

times. We will provide a piano and sound system, You must provide any additional instruments, props, that will be used during your

performance. All contestants must arrive and be ready to perform at ( put in time) Contestants arriving late may be disqualified. All performances must be in good taste. The talent show Organizing Committee has final decision to decline applications

deemed inappropriate. No foul or suggestive lyrics and/or gestures will be tolerated. All contestants must adhere to the dress code. Dress attire should not be extreme, lewd or offensive. This is a semi-formal

event and the talent committee will screen participants prior to the competition and if the attire of the contestant does not meet the approval of the committee the contestant will not be allowed to participate. Dresses/skirts need to be knee length or longer with tops fully covering the breast area. Boys/men need to wear trousers that are at the waist area not revealing skin or undergarments. No tank tops.
