(b) Teaching Laboratory Development:

PHY 3049L Physics for Scientists and Engineers Laboratory: 1994 Re-wrote and upgraded the laboratory manual for this lab. 1995-96, Worked with Dr. Bass on the development of Computer Aided Learning (SAIL) in the PHY 3049 laboratory. Teaching of students by this method was implemented on a trial basis in Spr 1996. Two proposals were submitted, to NSF and Florida Dept. of Ed., to gain developmental funding for this endeavor. PHY 4424L Optics Laboratory Developed & taught lab in 2000.

(c) NSF Summer Undergraduate Research Program:

As Principal Investigator on the NSF funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program for 1991-2002, and co-investigator from 2002-2011, Conducted many hours of formal and informal lectures and supervised one or two undergraduate research students each summer.
