Static Control Training

Normal Classes: DVD or Video sessions that don’t adequately or

realistically cover what you actually do in your facility – good to spread the word but not always focused on what you really need to do

Vendor sponsored training that has a major goal of selling you something (a little harsh but it happens and some are actually pretty good –not really free!)

Consultant training (can be expensive unless part of some other activity where it is built in)

ESD Association Program Manager training (excellent but more than what many need)

Who can benefit from this program?

ESD damage is not going away – in-fact it is increasing due to automated processes leading to charged device model (CDM) damage

Control of static charge on people - (human body model) HBM is pretty well understood but correct implementation is necessary now and always

Page 14: David E. Swenson Affinity Static Control Consulting LLC (512) 244-7514 – static 2@swbell.net ESD Association () Texas Chapter of the ESD Association.

Who can benefit from this program?

This training program is intended for small to medium size companies that have no one on their staff to manage the control of electrostatic risks Any size company will benefit of this one

of a kind (and one time only) program at the current pricing structure Not likely to happen in this area again (or

at least not for a long time)

Page 15: David E. Swenson Affinity Static Control Consulting LLC (512) 244-7514 – static 2@swbell.net ESD Association () Texas Chapter of the ESD Association.

Who can benefit from this program?
