Dave kept students on the straight and

narrow, like an older brother would.

And encouraged everyone at Monarch Park to be the best

they could.

Dave touched everyone he met in special ways

and kept everyone safe.

Dave helped us all, and taught

us all, in his special ways.

Our halls will never be the

same without our dearest Dave.

He found the best in everyone and

encouraged everyone to

behave.

Dave came to visit, one more time,

To see us once again.

We wished him well.

But we couldn’t tell,

He came to say goodbye.

 He walked around.

Talked to those he found.

He walked and walked.

And we talked and talked.
