A Shift in PerspectiveIn the next 50 years, the U.S. Census Bureau projects the Hispanic market will increase approximately 50%, to make up 26% of the population. Enter the Hispanic woman: advancing into a more dynamic — and more powerful — business and buying routine of influence!Traditionally and culturally groomed as the ideal caregivers, today’s Hispanic

women are stepping out, moving up and taking more control.

Many more are working in affluent jobs. In fact, 56% of working Hispanic

women hold white-collar positions, according to the Census. They’re

contributing to the household’s in-come, yet are still responsible for the

children’s upbringing and household

duties. They’re making more money than ever before. And they’re accustomed to being in charge — of the children, the household... and the purse strings. More active lifestyles motivate them to seek new products and services to help simpli-fy the pounding beat of their hectic lives. The dance floor is open to marketers who make the right moves.

Speak Her LanguageCompanies that communicate to and sup-port the evolving role of Hispanic women today can achieve utopian business suc-cess: that is, being in the right place at the right time, with respectful, helpful and relevant communications.Hispanic consumers are protective of their heritage. They tend to be brand loyal

— 25% make buying decisions based on advertising versus 13% of the general population, and 38% look to magazine ads for ideas compared to 22% of non-Hispanics. They respond to companies that support their community and respect their culture. Overall, 92% of Hispanic adults read, watch or listen to media in their native language.

Culture CountsIf you’re selling modern conveniences, consumerpackaged goods, automobiles, fastfood, computers, clothing, music and more —your advertising needs to find a new beat. Not since baby boomers in post–World WarII have we seen a popu-lation shift that rivalsthe dramatic change expected in the Hispanic market in the next

Not since Rosie the Riveter have we seen the influence of women so powerful.

HISPANIC WOMEN REPRESENT A NEW FRONTIER FOR MARKETERS

Not since Rosie the Riveter have we seen the influence of women so powerful.

The Hispanic market includes 35.5 million

people, with a buying power of $454.2 billion.

AIGA wanted to get the word out that April 27 is the World Day of Design, an international holiday acknowl-edging the vital role of design. The theme was diversity. So I both illustrated and designed.

Rob McCorkle Senior PastorPastor Rob has been with us since day one. He has lead by example wearing many hats in the life of this church, from set up to janitor, he's been beside us every step of the way.

Scott Brown Youth PastorPastor Scott has been leading the youth for just over four years now and has been doing an amazing job with the youth. He is also involved in a side project CROSSING GUARD, a local worship band.

Tami Ball SecretaryTami has been doing a good job keeping track of all of us for the past three years. She knows more about you that you'd probably like.

Kim Gogel Children's PastorPastor Kim is truly one of the best people we could imagine to be working with our kids. She is raising our kids to be excited about serving and being followers of Christ.

Kim Taucher Worship LeaderLeading us in worship is quite a feat. But I don't know of anyone more who I'd want up there than Kim. Previously being an entertainer on cruise ships she learned what it means to keep us captivated. And focused on God.

Don’t kid yourself. We all have them.

So why not submit your questions to

the address below by April 5th and

Pastor Rob will do his best to answer

them by comparing Scripture, provid-

ing Biblical, and life examples to see

how we might better understand what

questions we are really asking and the

answers we really want.

Don’t miss your opportunity to find out

the answers. Yeah it sounds kind of

weird, but don’t say we never offered

you anything.

We’ve got the answers to most of life’s simple

questions. “The meaning of life”, “Where did we

come from?”, “Do good people go to hell?” All of

these — we’re still looking into the Bible for the

answers to those.
