During the month of December Kiddie Academy will be learning and celebrating Holidays Around the World!

Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Saint Nicholas Day, Eid’ul-Adha, Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Lucia Day, Hanukkah, Christmas

Day, Three Kings Day/Epiphany, Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, Omisoka, Yule and Saturnalia to name a few.

Summer CampPreview Week

Tuesday – CrAzY hAiR dAy!!! Wear your hair messy and creative! Wednesday – Favorite Character Day! Dress up as your favorite Character (Halloween in December)Thursday – Backwards Day! Wear your clothes and accessories Backwards! Friday – Pajama Day! Wear your favorite PJ’s to school!

Our 100th day of school is on Friday, January 13th. We want to celebrate in grand style! The teachers will have many hands-on activities planned for the children to engage in on this

special day. We are challenging you to collect and count 100 items from your home and arrange and display the 100 items in an

interesting and creative way. The items may range from sequins to golf tees, to Barbie shoes

(peanut free food items are ok) the ideas are endless. Brainstorm different items with your

child. We hope you and your child have fun with this problem-solving activity. The children will begin their 100th day of school presenting their

100’s creations to their classmates.

Decorating ContestStarting January 3rd, the teachers and kiddos will be busy preparing their classroom doors to resemble a Winter theme. Please feel free to check in with your teachers to offer

them support. They can use your creative ideas, donations for

materials and elbow grease to help make your child’s classroom door a

Winter from Wonderland!The following week we will have voting set up for the families and

kids to cast their votes in the lobby. Classroom winner will enjoy a PIZZA Party in their classroom! Pete the Cat Dance Party
