2ERHARD ball valve

The economical solution for high pressures and high flow rates

Especially with high flow velocities up to 15 m/s and pressure ratings up to PN

40, the ERHARD ball valve offers the ideal and economical solution for mani-

fold applications in the water and sewage sector. Thanks to its design, it has a

very low resistance coefficient compared to other types of valves when in the

open position. The valve resistance coefficient has a strong impact on the energy

inputs of pumps in closed pipe systems. In direct comparison between a but-

terfly valve and an ERHARD Ball valve it becomes evident that the necessary

purchase costs will mostly amortize already in the first years of usage. We will

be happy to calculate the specific energy savings for your specific application.

More properties:

•Low construction height and full straight-through bore

•The ball plug of simple and solid moulded design is eccentrically supported

•Thanks to the soft transitions, no non-turbulent flow conditions are necessary

upstream or downstream of the valve

•The profile ring is in open position outside the flow path

•Insensitive to dirt and scrapable

•The robust sealing part seals on both sides

•It is insensitive to deposits and guarantees absolute leak tightness and high

deformation resistance

•Even after long periods without operating: smoothly and tight.

•Standard mounted with slider-crank mechanism. The movement kinematics

is almost exactly the curve-characteristic of the valve. Pressure surges can

be avoided.

•Epoxy coating for optimum corrosion protection

•Wide range of accessories: spindle extensions, with electro-actuator, with

weight loaded hydraulic actautor
