manufa cture r and include s the veh icle w e ight and the maximum load it can ca rry.

load. Some t im es re fe rred to a s Gros s T ra in Mas s (GTM)
U nla de n W e ight (U LW ) is the w e ight o f the veh icle
w hen it 's no t ca rrying any pa s senge rs , goods o r o the r items . It include s the body and a l l pa rts
no rma lly us ed by the veh icle on the road, but doe sn 't include the w e ight o f fue l.
Ke rbw e ight a s de fined in a European D ire ct ive and a s mos t commonly used, is the w e ight o f the
veh icle a s it le ave s the fa cto ry w ith o i l and w a te r fo r no rma l ope ra t ion and w ith it s fue l tank
90% fu l l . It a ls o include s a nom ina l 75kg fo r d rive r and sma ll amount o f luggage . Th is de fin it ion
