* The ‘on behalf of’ scenario is when the Partner acquires the Cloud Service for the business benefit of a 3rd party end customer. The options are:

• For ad hoc use of Metered and Un-metered PaaS / IaaS a DAS request item # C02804 for the given transaction must be approved • For ad hoc use of SaaS (except Marketing Cloud and SRM) a DAS request item # C01519 for the given transaction must be approved • For ISVs sign an ISV Amendment to the Cloud Services Agreement • For Eloqua and Bluekai for Agencies sign the Marketing Cloud Agency Amendment to the CSA, and for Marketing Cloud and SRM a DAS request item # C01082 • For business process outsourcers sign a BPS Amendment to the CSA

Oracle Cloud – Subscription Types

• Services available as unmetered services are purchased on a term subscription basis.

• The database schema service is sold as an unmetered service with terms of monthly, 1 year, 2 years and 3 years.

• Cloud credits can not be used to pay for unmetered services.

• Unmetered services can not be exchanged for cloud credits.

Metered Unmetered • Cloud prepaid subscriptions charged hourly against a

rate card.

• For example an Extreme Performance service will burn credits faster then an SE database.

• Likewise a database server on 16 OCPUs (cores) will burn cloud credits faster then a 2 OCPU shape.

• Metered services are paid for in advance typically for a term of 1, 2 or 3 years.

• At the end of the term the unused credits expire.

Oracle Cloud – Zusammenfassung

• Cloud Service wird als eine Art Term Subscription mit monatlichen Kosten und einer Laufzeit von 1, 2 oder 3 Jahren gekauft.

• Der Discount ergibt sich z.B. aus der Anzahl der User beim BI oder Documenten Cloud Service.

• Nach Ablauf der Laufzeit kauft der Kunde über den Partner die Term Subscription nach.

• Der Partner hat neben der Rabattstaffel die Möglichkeit über die OMM Registrierung einen Rebate von 10% zu erhalten.

Metered Unmetered • Der Kunde kauft für einen bestimmten Betrag Prepaid

Subscription Funds.

• Die Funds haben eine Gültigkeit von maximal 12 Monaten (längere Gültigkeit via Approval möglich), ungenutzte Funds verfallen danach.

• Der Kunde konsumiert Metered PaaS Services wie DB oder Java seiner Wahl, monatliche oder stündliche Abrechnung können auch im Mix gewählt werden.

• Der “Verbrauch” in Abhängigkeit zum gewählten Service und der Anzahl der OCPUs wird vom Guthaben abgezogen.

• Auch hier bekommt der Partner neben seiner Marge von 10% mit einer OMM Registierung einen Rebate von weiteren 10%. Kunde bekommt Burn Rate discountiert.
