The current double entry ac-

counting system does not prevent cheating. The

world loses an estimated $4 trillion to fraud every year. Adding a third, public, immutable ledger can

greatly reduce that loss.

There is still no functioning and

widely used micropay-ment scheme. With the technology mentioned in

business remittance and payroll, everyone can become their

own PayPal. Micropay-ments in fractions of cents will be possi-

No current system can handle multiple fiat and crypto currencies

1 Business blockchains are going to happen. There are many projects that cover a slice of the multilayered enterprise world. Pacio be-lieves that these projects will fail if they all exist in isolation. Pacio is the one that puts all into a basket, both on and off chain and binds it with an encompassing semantic data standard.
