No crackers Campaign “School goes on green path for Eco Friendly Diwali”
On 2nd
November 2018 our school organized a fete which depicted the vibrance of this festival in
the premises. The highlights of the fete this year were several interesting game stalls and food stalls
which offered a variety of delectable food items. There was a provision of unlimited rides for all the
students. Children flocked incessantly to the games sections to try their luck and display their skills
at various games stalls. To a kid, Diwali means one thing CRACKERS but thanks to the awareness
provided to our students by the school who talked about the environmental hazards of bursting
crackers. They carried placards, raised slogans about air, sound and environment pollution.
Students joined the league and conveyed the thought- Diwali is a festival of Diyas not crackers.
School sensitized students on taking pledge of a safe and green Diwali.

The rhythms and the beats of the young Dashmesh maestros resonated around the campus on Diwali Fete. Their melodious performances swayed the audience with delight and appreciation. Our singers who presented a variety of patriotic, folk, devotional, rock etc songs spread an aura of pleasant harmony which captivated the school campus. The singing was unparalleled and there was a roar for more musical festivity. The vivacious dances who displayed a variety of traditional, folk, bollywood and hip-hop dances set the floor on fire with their energetic performances.
To bring out the singing talent of the students, an interclass folk singing competition was organized for the primary wing. An audition round was conducted in the respective classes where the best students were selected by the class teachers. The competitors presented a variety of songs and sang with lot of passion and confidence. It was a treat to the ears to hear the mellifluous voice of the talented budding singers which captivated the audience.
