Rajiv GandhiRajiv Gandhi – Pilot to Prime Minister. Dasäàça – 10th house (artha) trines has a delicate balance between (a) Mars & Mercury in the 6th house showing service as a pilot (Ketu supports Mercury ruling air travel) and (b) Sun & Ketu in the 10th house showing politics.

In the dasäàça Näräyaëa daçä of Pisces his brother Sanjay died in a plane crash and he was brought into politics by his mother Indira Gandhi. Pisces has Rähu the amätyakäraka and indicator for politics. Jupiter is well placed in Sagittarius in lagna and will not encourage Mercury and Mars in the 6th house (Pacakadisambandha).

In Leo Näräyaëa daçä, his mother died and he became the Prime Minister of India. Leo is aspected by 8th lord Moon (inheritance from Mother) and its lord Sun is in the 10th house promising a political career.
