Botanist Blank Canvas (08) – Pioneered an eco-product line based on a “socially responsible” royalty structure. Designers include; Yves Behar, Milton Glaser, Massimo Vignelli, Karim Rashid, Tord Boontje and others. Charities include; DIFFA, Sierra Club, Special Olympics, Cancer Institute, Rescue Foundation and others. Garnered global exposure and grew revenue to 1.5M since launch. www.botanistseries.com

Flight001 (00 - 09) – Developed retail environment, which won “Boutique Concept of the Year” by Retail Magazine 2003. Fligh001 has grown into a global brand with 8 stores and over 25M in revenues since inception. Business Week magazine attributes their success to “a narrative driven retail experience”. www.flight001.com

Starbucks (08) – Prototyped two new shops to test an innovative “living wall” system that covers unattractive exterior elevations with plant fauna for localized look while reducing carbon offsets and maintenance costs while elevating store appeal. Gensler / MGM (08) – Secured a 750k contract from Gensler to assist in the branding and design of MGM’s City Center Harmon Hotel showroom property. http://www.theharmon.com/

- PRODUCT INNOVATION –

Grid-it! Technology (09) - Pioneered a patent-pending object retention system. Negotiated a multi-million dollar licensing deal with Distribution Management Consultants (DMC) for use in electronics, automotive, cosmetics, sports, and outdoor markets. Grid-it! has received global media exposure including Good Morning America. First year revenues are at 2.2M. www.gridittechnology.com

Pull Magnetic Fixtures (05 - 09) – Pioneered a patent-pending magnetic merchandizing system. Installed at Hobo Bags, Whole Foods, Flight001, and Karl Lagerfeld. Negotiated a non-exclusive license to M. Lavine a Minnesota fixture manufacture servicing accounts for Godiva and Macy’s. www.pullfixtures.com

Sony (08) –Delivered over 10 flat screen TV concepts for their Santa Monica design office which later showcased in Japan’s global round table resulting in the use of “carbon fiber” as a new decorative treatment for Sony TV’s and computer screens worldwide. http://www.orange22.com/sony

Carbon (08) – An experimental line of luxury furniture inspired by aerospace manufacturing techniques. Fabricated out of 100% carbon fiber. On display at Twentieth, L.A.’s premier showroom for Art and Design.http://www.twentieth.net/

Elite Modern (00 – 07) Developed over 100 furniture related products of which many are still in production today. Innovative designs gained the interest of Costco, Container Store, Office Depot, Plummers and others. Designs generated over 30M in revenue over 7 years. www.elitemodern.com

Futuredesk (00) – Incorporating a massive touch-sensitive LCD film Futuredesk allows the end user to download custom “DAPS” (desk top apps), such as a third party keyboards and applications, and position them on your desk as desired. Concept received an I.D. Innovations Award and press worldwide.

- LEADERSHIP –

Art Center / GE (06) – Lead faculty for Art Center’s GE sponsored studio. This $100,000 studio asked students from transportation, product, and environmental design to innovate health care products for remote regions of China and Africa. Index Design Awards (07) Copenhagen – Lead a group of Art Center students through the “real world” process of establishing a working studio abroad with an ambitious assignment to design and implement a city wide exhibition for Index Awards – Design to Improve Life, a global competition. http://www.indexaward.dk/
