Networking begins at 6 pm, program at 6:30 pm, followed by the business meeting at 7 pm. Delicious desserts, coffee, and tea will be provided. The program will be presented by Lynnette Schuepbach of Highland. Schuepbach has been a massage therapist for nearly 25 years. She uses several modalities through her work connecting with clients in a variety of ways and has taught Reflexology at several massage schools in the St. Louis area. Schuepbach believes that health is affected by mind, body and spirit, and each of these areas need to be considered when taking care of ourselves. In her presentation, she will address exercises for all areas of our lives and methods of finding ways to counteract the stresses we all face. And, if we’re lucky, she might even bring her massage table and demonstrate some stretches we can do! Help Fill Our Easter Basket(s)….A few good members remembered to bring Easter items to the Speak-off March 10, but the “Bunny” still needs more help! These baskets are distributed through HACSM (Food Pantry) to less fortunate kids in our community. So, if you haven’t donated something, please consider bringing at item or two to our April meeting to help fill our basket(s) – candy, children’s books, hair ribbon for girls, socks, movie, toys, sidewalk chalk, etc. Our basket(s) will be delivered to HACSM just in time for the Bunny to deliver!

Thanks for helping to make someone’s Easter special!

Happy Easter! Happy Spring!

Hope to see you at the April meeting!

Paula, Muriel, Jen, & Kathy

A NOTE FROM YOUR PRESIDENT:

Hello, lovely ladies!

Who is excited for warmer temps, greener grass, and blooming flowers?! Nature is coming back to life again, and I am grateful! I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Donna Plocher for organizing a successful Speak-Off last month. Donna, we all appreciate your hard work and willingness to take on this big task! Our Speak-Off winner was Lauren Townsend, a senior at HHS who will be attending the University of Illinois in the fall. Her speech was excellent, and she is certainly a well deserving candidate. A quick reminder, our club will be collecting Easter Basket items for First Mid's drive on behalf of HACSM. We are so grateful to those of you who have donated items. We're in need of a bit more. So we are going to continue to collect Easter Basket items at our April meeting instead of collecting for Relevant Pregnancy Options Center, as originally noted on your calendar. We will save RPOC for a later date. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our meeting on Monday, April 8 at 6:30 in the Faith Countryside Community Room. We will be joined by guest speaker, Lynnette Schuepbach. This month's Board Meeting will be held on Monday, April 22 at 6:00pm at The Chocolate Affair. All members are welcome to attend! Happy Spring! Amy Kloss
