Figure out your platform •  Read the fine print. •  Each tool has different fees, so do your research. •  Some are based on monthly subscriptions, others are based on usage.

Figure out your platform •  Take it for a whirl! •  Make sure it’s intuitive and easy to use. •  Walk through the whole process in your fundraisers’ shoes. •  The easier it is to use, the more motivated your fundraisers will be.

Make your campaign a success •  Get specific! •  Take advantage of the matching grant – it’s your best tool. •  Use the matching grant as 1:1, 2:1, or as a way to double your total (i.e. no matching funds until $10k is reached) •  Create urgency around a deadline.

Make your campaign a success •  Be a force multiplier.

- Use your social media properties to highlight fundraisers doing a good job.

•  Get your current supporters excited about the campaign, and don’t forget to ask them to donate.
