• Third largest underground mining contractor in Australia
• Established in 1993
• Head office in Orange NSW with projects in NSW, WA, VIC, SA, QLD, TAS and
internationally
• The PYBAR Group also includes HMR Drilling, JTMEC, and PJL Group
Diversified Minerals
• Owner of the Dargues Gold Mine
• Acquired Unity Mining in June 2016
• Projects located in NSW and TAS
• Equity in other Australian projects
Dargues Gold Mine – Project Overview
• Located approximately 60km south east of Canberra, 14km south of Braidwood and
immediately north of Majors Creek
• Employing 100-120 people locally and utilising local suppliers where possible
• Current five year mine life, with opportunities for extension
• Conventional underground mine with ore trucked to the surface for processing
• Produces a gold sulphide concentrate to be transported away from site
• No use of cyanide on site
Project Status
• Project originally approved in February 2012
• Construction commenced in February 2013, with the following completed:
• Boxcut;
• Laydown Area; and
• Site Access Road.
• Project placed into care and maintenance in December 2013
• Acquired by Diversified Minerals in June 2016
• Review and update of key project metrics
• Finalisation of Project Approvals (Modification 3 and EPBC 2015/7539)
What to Expect in 2017
• Diversified Minerals and PYBAR are committed to recommencement of
construction of the Dargues Gold Mine, with the following targeted timeline
• First Half 2017
• Minor earthworks, clearing of pads and construction of small dams
• Construction of sheds, offices and other mine support infrastructure
• Bulk earthworks, including the Spring Creek Crossing, Tailings Storage Facility and Waste
Rock Emplacement
• Commencement of underground mining
• Process plant construction

• Preference will be given to local candidates where possible

• Some roles on site require previous experience or specialist training, however there
are still many opportunities for candidates with no mining experience
• Fatigue Management – travel times between site and home will be considered as
part of the employment criteria
