The MOTOBRIDGE Gateway units are based on one hardware platform, which can be configured to serve as either a Radio Gateway Unit (RGU) or a WorkStation Gateway Unit (WSGU).

RGU • Connects Radio equipment to the system • Performs all audio buffering and Signal processing • Performs VoIP packet-distribution that allows all users
to get a replica of the audio from each radio • Supports up to 4 or up to 8 access radios • Connected to peers over LAN or IP • Encrypts audio over the IP network

Dispatcher to SIP Phone talkpath connection: Talkpaths to standard SIP Phones (such as Cisco 7940) over the standard RTP protocol. Dispatcher to PSTN Phone User talkpath connection: A talkpath to any public phone user (requires a SIP PSTN Gateway deployed). Add phone user to a Dispatcher’s conference: Within a mouse click, the connected phone user (SIP/PSTN) can be added to an existing dispatcher's conference as an equal member.
