NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT, LONG ISLAND CITY, NY FEB 2007 – PRESENTCONTRACT MANAGER/ TAXI REIMBURSEMENT MANAGER Administrator of a multi-million dollar Access-A-Ride (AAR) contract. Review the contract on a regular

basis to ensure vendor provides goods and services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract’s scope of work. Identify any discrepancies and follow up with the vendor to rectify these issues; implement any contract modifications as required.

Review the current process for processing taxi reimbursements and identify areas of improvement. Take steps to restructure how taxi reimbursements are process. Activities included rewriting the Taxi Reimbursement procedure guides and adding new processes; resulting in fewer production errors and reduced production time by 7 days.

Track the number of reimbursement request received and processed monthly and prepare monthly taxi statistical reports. Review / audit the process of taxi reimbursement requests and create new taxi reimbursement procedures that improved the team’s accuracy.

Analyze vendor’s monthly invoices, assess punitive damages, and process payments in a timely and efficient manner.

Track and monitor vendor’s performance through weekly site visits, quarterly progress meetings, and through audits of vendor records and reports. Follow up on any open items, address incoming and outgoing communications, and advise vendor of course of actions to take to rectify any issues.
