The church in Dangkao was started through tract distribution which was done in Phum Thalay on July

1998 which was followed by Medical Missions in Phum Samboa on August 1998

Page 4: Dangkao History

Through Vacation Bible School and extension classes in the surrounding villages the church grew and a property was purchased in Phum Thmey, Sangkat

Dangkao on February 1999

Page 5: Dangkao History

•We started using the property on

March 1999 with a little shack built on

the side Mr. Somnang and Mr. Chandara took charge in looking after the property.

•Because we believe in Matt. 6:33, that

April 1999, we started building our church building with only

$300 but God gave the increase.

Page 6: Dangkao History

On October 1999, while floodwaters surrounded Dangkao, we dedicated our church building and

some government officials came to witness God’s amazing grace. Some members came by canoe.

Page 7: Dangkao History

Dr. Jack Baskin dedicated the building together with Rev. Bruce McKee.

Page 8: Dangkao History

•Through personal

evangelism and home Bible

studies our church grew.

•The little church building was not

big enough to house 150 people

during its services.

Page 9: Dangkao History

•Our work does not stop on the building. We are building lives, spiritual lives, that will one day become servants and worshipers of the Lord

•Young men have given their lives to serve the Lord and teach and preach

even with discomforts and

persecutions.

Page 10: Dangkao History

•Some have enrolled in Bible School but most

have not, yet they serve the Lord,

teach, and preach the Gospel

•On special days we give our offerings to support the

Cambodia Baptist Bible College
