Helpful Hints Before employing a dance artist here are some hints you might consider when booking a dance artist.

1. Contact the artist directly to find out their availability for work.

2. Arrange a meeting or discuss your requirements over the phone.

3. Ensure that artists have the relevant checks and suitable insurance.

4. You may like to ask for some names and contact details of referees for the individual or organisation.

5. Agree the hourly rate or fee with the artist/organisation.

6. Once all activity is finalised and confirmed send the artist/organisation a

letter which states all agreements clearly. Two copies of the letter should be sent to the artist/organisation, one copy for the artist/organisation and the second copy to be signed and returned to you prior to the start of the activity.
