BASIC INFORMATION: Tickets cost $5.00you can buy them at the door. The dance starts at 6:00 and we would like you to be there by 6:30, but if you need to come later, please have your parent or guardian bring you in. All AMS dances are “Buddy Dances”—this means you may bring a friend from another school. Your friend does not need to live in Medford, but does need to be in the 6 th , 7 th , or 8 th grade. You must have your parent’s/guardian’s permission to bring a friend to the dance, and you need to fill out a signed Buddy Form and pass it in to Mrs. Marotta by the end of the school day on Thursday. Buddy Forms are available during the week in the cafeteria, and online. Pizza, snacks, and drinks are available for purchase in the cafeteria all night. We always appreciate parent/guardian volunteers in the cafeteria! BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: All AMS Handbook expectations of behavior apply at the dance, both for you and your buddy. If your buddy does not respect the rules of the Handbook, both you and your buddy will be asked to leave. The Dress Code is the same for the dance as it is for the school day. No cell phones in the gym, cafeteria, and bathrooms, but you may use your phone in the lobby to keep in touch with your parents/guardians or to check the time. You may not take pictures anywhere or anytime at Andrews Middle School. If you need to leave early, your parent/guardian may come in to get you, but otherwise you may not leave the building without an adult’s permission. Please make sure your ride comes at 9:00 sharp.
