Miss Wittle at The School of American Ballet teaches a child for him to become healthy.

Dancing is a great way to meet your friends that are interested in the same things you are. In this picture 6 friends are all dancing getting ready for a show.

All people love sports. Well most of us do. I am not saying that dance is

the best sport to know, I am saying it is better than some other sports if

you consider it is fun and healthful. Dance is a sport that allows people

to express oneself.

First I interviewed Mckenna L. Guerin. I asked her a few questions.

Is dance fun to you? Why or why not?

Answer: I do think it is fun because you get to express yourself and it’s

good for your health.

Do you think that dance is an important sport to do or not? Why?

Answer: Yes because it can be better than other sports and it’s a better

sport for if you want to become flexible.

After I interviewed Mckenna Guerin I also interviewed Samantha Elias

and Yasmin Segato. They all had the same opinion as her. They thought

dance is a very good way to have fun, express yourself and stay healthy

One reason dance is a good sport to do is because when you do

dance then that involves gymnastics, ballet, etc.. Those sports help

you become flexible which could help you in life problems and self

defense issues. For example; If you needed to get out of a building

because there was a fire and then the escape had a problem were

then you would have to be flexible to keep safe all the way to the

bottom and you weren’t flexible there would be a problem.

My second reason that you should dance is because it is a good way to express

yourself. Most of other sports don’t have any place in it were you can express

yourself. Like in baseball you can’t really twirl around and act crazy. You can but it

is not part of the sport. Dancing is really the only sport that you can do that kind of

stuff.

The last reason that I think it is a good thing to do is because it keeps your

muscles strong, which improves your stamina which lets your body stay strong.

When your body is strong it helps keep your body safe from diseases. For example;

If you got sick and your body didn’t know how to fight it then that could cause you

to get a disease or get a type of cancer/ other very bad sickness.

In conclusion, you should dance if you want to have

fun, keep strong, keep healthy, express yourself, be

flexible and last but not least be protected from a lot.

All people should be free to express them self, be

happy and healthy.
