o Assisted superintendent, project manager and project engineers in the day to day operations and activities at the renovation of Founders Hall at The University of Dayton.

o Ran a grass roots campaign as the independent candidate in the 2015 Bowling Green Mayoral raceo Qualifications to be put on the ballot for office included registering over 300 students to vote, obtaining over 200 petition

signatures, registering with the Ohio Ethics Commission, setting up the “Citizens For Dan Phillips” political bank, account and meeting with a number of City off city officials.

o Campaign focused on the quality of life for students within the city. Focused on registering students to vote, quality of student housing and addressing unfair/ illegal renting practices and

zoning laws. Brought student issues to the forefront of the community conversation. Worked on improving the relationship between students and full time residents. Participated in 3 formal debates/ community forums with the other candidates for office. Participated in several TV, print and radio interviews/ discussions. Created the “Students for Dan Phillips” student organization for the purpose of registering students to vote and facility

open discussions and current issues.o Raised over $3,000 accepting donations from only students and family
