    DALI DIMMING MICROWAVE MOTION SENSOR

    MODEL: FXS03DL

    DALI Dimming

This sensor contains a DALI power supply circuit, which gives DALI output to the driver to carry out the sensor on/off and dimming control.

    FXS03DL - KEY FEATURES

    • DALI dimming control

    • Easy programming via DIP switches

    • Dual-photocell technology allows real daylight monitoring for use with 'step-dim' drivers in built-in applications

    • Zero-cross circuit protects the sensor relay against in-rush current, thereby maximising product life expectancy

    • 5.8GHz C-band microwave motion sensor

    • Operating voltage: 120 - 277V AC 50 - 60Hz

    • Switched power : max. 30 devices; max. 60mA

    Hold-time

This setting adjusts the period of full brightness after motion detection.

Detection rangeDetection range can be reduced by selecting the combination on the DIP switches to fit user requirements.

    Daylight sensor

This setting adjusts the daylight threshold to enable or disable the sensor function.

    “Disable”:

    “50lux”:

The sensor works always, even during daylight.

The sensor works only in twilight.

“10lux, 2lux”: The sensor works only in the dark.

    * to enter test mode (walk test) set hold-time to T3s*. This mode enables the user to set the desired detection range. In this mode, the daylight sensor is disabled, so when there is no motion detected the luminaire remains on. When motion is detected, the luminaires cycles 3s on and 2s off.

On→Off: luminaire turns off immediately and cannot be triggered ON again by motion until the expiration of pre-set hold-time. After this period, the sensor goes back to normal sensor mode.

Off→On: the light turns on and goes to sensor mode.In some applications the user may not want to have a sensor automatically switch on the light, the sensor will be activated only on the manual Off→On press.

    DAYLIGHT MONITORING

Utilising dual-photocell technology, the sensor can differentiate between natural light and artificial light from behind the diffuser. It can switch on automatically (even without movement) when the ambient light is below the target value, and then switch off automatically whenever the artificial light is not required (sufficient ambient light).

This is REAL & INTELLIGENT daylight monitoring for built-in applications.

    Note: Lux-Off sampling time: ~30s; Lux-On sampling time: ~10s.

Lux-On function takes effect only when standby dimming period set at + ∞ .
