PerkinElmer’s AuroFlow™ Strip Tests detect the most commonly used antibiotics found in dairy cow’s milk. These tests are fast and easy-to-use in a laboratory or in the field and do not require any additional equipment. The AuroFlow™ Strip Tests are manufactured to test for European Union and CODEX maximum residue limits (MRL).

The AuroFlow™ PR1ME™ Strip Tests are the newest products released by PerkinElmer, in which a mixing step has been eliminated from the test procedure. You can now add milk directly to a sample tube, then insert the test strip immediately for results within minutes.

PerkinElmer also offers products for the detection of a multitude of drug residues, pasteurization verification, and Aflatoxin M1.

BRAZILIn Brazil, a rapidly increasing demand for dairy products is driven by a fast-growing middle class of more than 100 million people who are also demanding improvements in the quality of their food products.

CANADAIn Canada, it is illegal to give a cow artificial hormones to increase its milk production. This means no milk, cheese, yogurt, or other dairy products produced in Canada contain added hormones.

FINLANDThe top milk drinking country in the world is Finland, drinking about 95 gallons of milk per person per year.

GREECECenturies before bodybuilders & milk protein powder, ancient Greek Olympians used dairy products to fuel their performance. According to Greek historian Diogenes Laertius, the first Olympians ate a diet consisting of figs, cheese and wheat. The majority of the athletes’ protein came from cheese.

CHINAThe Chinese dairy industry has imported a quarter million dairy cows since 2009, sourcing cows from Australia and New Zealand, which produce more milk per cow than original Chinese breeds.

AUSTRALIAThe dairy industry first started in Australia with only two bulls and seven cows, which arrived with the First Fleet from Englandto New South Wales, in 1788.

RUSSIAAncient Russians used to put frogs in milk to prevent the milk from going sour. Russian Brown Frogs secrete antimicrobial peptides, which would prevent bacteria from growing and spoiling the milk.
