The rates shall be quoted for Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner (Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian items) & Sweet Dishes shown in the annexure to NIT which can be had from the office of the undersigned alongwith tender form. The contract shall remain in force for one year from the date of allotment of Contract on the following terms and conditions. 1.The tender forms can be purchased from the office of the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, Fruit Complex, Narwal, Jammu upto 15th of Nov 2017 during working hours against cash payment/DD of Rs 500/- as tender form charges. The tenders addressed to the Chief Executive APMC Narwal should reach by or before 22nd of Nov 2017 upto 2.00 pm by registered post/speed post/courier. In case, last date so fixed for receipt of tenders happens to be holiday due to any reason the next work- ing day will be last date for receipt of tenders. The tenders shall be opened on the same day or any subsequent date conven- ient to the committee in presence of tenderer or their authorized representative in the office of the Chief Executive, APMC Narwal Mandi Jammu. 2. The tenderers are required to deposit earnest money of Rs 25000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) in the shape of CDR pledged to the Chief Executive APMC Narwal Jammu alongwith the tender. The teders without CDR shall not be considered and will be rejected outrightly. The CDRs of unsuccessful tenderer shall be released within one month after the execution of agreement of the contract with successful tenderer. 3. The minimum bid amount for utilization of Kitchen, Dinning Hall, Electricity (lights only) and water facility will be Rs 3.00 lac per annum which the successful tenderer have to deposit in full within three days from the date of receiving the contract allot- ment letter from the undersigned and before taking charge of the Kitchen. 4. The tenderer should furnish experience certificate of cooking not less than three years from the Hospitality and Protocol Department/Tourism Department/J&K TDC/ITDC/Registered Hoteliers/Caterer or Registered Kashmiri Wazwan Union/Circuit House Jammu/Srinagar. 5. The rates charged for serving various items shall be at par with rates fixed by Circuit House Jammu. In no case the caterer/contractor will charge rate of any item above those being charged at Circuit House Jammu. 6. The undersigned reserves the right to reject or accept any/all tenders without assigning any reasons. 7. The successful tenderer shall have to arrange his own utensils, crockery and other required infrastructure and manpower in the Kitchen and Dinning Hall besides shall be wholly and solely responsible for maintaining hygiene of Kitchen and Dining Hall. 8. 25% discount on food item charges shall be provided for the staff and employees of Horticulture (P&M) Department. No res- idential facility shall be provided to the contractor or any of his service staff. 9. The contractor shall have to ensure the preparation of traditional Kashmiri Dishes and Kashmiri wazwan/items including preparation of seasonal vegetables/Dals etc. 10. The contractor shall have to keep at least 02 Nos of expert cooks and 03 nos. of service boys in dining hall. 11. In case of any dispute between the contractor/service staff and guests, the Deputy Director Horticulture (P&M)/Chief Executive APMC Narwal Jammu shall act as arbitrator and his decision shall be final and binding to the parties. 12. Deputy Director/Chief Executive APMC Narwal Jammu is authorized to terminate the contract without any notice if any clause of the contract agreement is violated. 13. The contractor shall not sublet the kitchen contract during the contract period and if violated, contract will be terminated and security deposit forfeited. 14. Income tax/TDS/GST/Other taxes will be paid by the contractor as per the prevailing laws. 15. The successful bidder will enter into registered agreement with the Department. 16. The cooks and service boys shall wear proper uniform during the working period. 17. Only lights, fans, refrigerator, deep freezer and microwave shall be allowed as the electric gadgets and no electric heater will be used by the contractor. 18. The contractor has to ensure best of the services to the visitors/guests of Kissan Ghar. 19.
