Transcript of Daily religioncucoc
Would you live for Jesus, and be always pure and good?Would you walk with Him within the narrow road?Would you have Him bear your burden, carry all your load?Let Him have His way with thee.
His power can make you what you ought to be;His blood can cleanse your heart and make you free; His love can fill your soul, and you will seeT’was best for Him to have His way with thee.
A challenge to live daily for Jesus
We live in a society today that is enamored with convenience.
Even Christianity has been relegated to “convenient” status
Daily Religion???
If the Central Union church is going to grow, it must involve daily devotion to God.
The Scriptures consistently encourage daily Christian living.
Acts 17:11; Acts 17:17; I Pet. 5:8; Eph.6:10-11;
1 Pet.3:15; 1 Cor.15:58
Gal.6:9
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may REST from their LABOURS; and their WORKS do follow them.
What good is a religion that only involves us one day out of the week?
Some want to put Jesus on Sunday morning, and take him off after services.
Jesus (our example) sought to do God’s will daily.
Lk. 2:49 – “I must be about my Father’s business”
Jn. 4:34 – “My purpose is do the will of the Father, and finish His work.”
Jn. 5:30 – “I seek not mine own will, but the will of Him whom sent me.”
Jn. 6:38 – “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.”
Lk. 22:42 – “Not my will, but thine, be done.”
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Daily Christian living serves to build up the church: Acts 2:47– “And the Lord added to the church
DAILY such as were being saved” Acts 16:5– “And so were the churches
established in the faith, and INCREASED in number DAILY.”
Acts 5:42– “And DAILY in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
The church grew b/c they lived DAILY for Jesus!
When we live for Jesus day by day, it cannot but help make the church stronger! What would happen if every member PRAYED
every day?

1 Cor.16:15
Hebrews 10:25“Not forsaking the assembly of
ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another...”
Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another daily…”
Daily devotion to Jesus is required to be his follower: Luke 9:23– “If any man will come after
me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
Not just Sunday, but every day!
Please consider that God looks after us every day! Matt.6:11—He gives us our daily bread Psa.68:19—He daily overwhelms us with
benefits If we can look to God each day with faith
and trust that He will provide and protect us, should He not be able to expect the same of us?
