The van range offers the greatest volume capacity available in Australia, while a wide choice of GVMs and wheelbases, along with dual cab, work-ready 4x4 options, make the Daily one of the country’s most versatile light commercial vehicles.

C O M F O R T

Drives like a car.The driving position and handling is car-like. The Daily features a smaller steering wheel and a wider windscreen than its predecessor with 40 mm of extra window surface to increase visibility. The dashboard has also been totally redesigned to guarantee comfortable control operation, while maintaining a correct driving position.

The new Daily cabin features ample storage compartments, improved soundproofing and an efficient automatic climate system. Smoothing out the bumps is the new QUAD-Tor front suspension which offers outstanding drivability, comfort and dynamic response, while guaranteeing maximum stability.

Featuring a new geometry, the rear suspension has been calibrated to control over-steering, providing outstanding vibration dampening and driving stability even on the most demanding roads. A rear pneumatic suspension is also available.

DAILY

P E R F O R M A N C E

Market-leading automatic transmission.The Daily features an industry-first 8-speed ‘Hi-Matic’ full automatic transmission that provides the operator with an effortless driving experience courtesy of a self-adaptive shift strategy that results in correct gear selection and shifts that take less than 200 milliseconds.

The version of the Hi-Matic used in the Daily has been strengthened for light commercial vehicle applications and was extensively tested for Australian climatic conditions – the unit features an external cooler and an independent transmission support for improved durability and cooling power.

To assist in reducing fuel consumption, the Hi-Matic features both ‘Eco’ and ‘Power’ modes. When Eco is selected, the transmission changes gears at lower rpm, while Power mode holds the vehicle in each gear for longer for even crisper acceleration should it be required.

Additionally, thanks to its 8-speeds – the widest ratio spread of any automatic van transmission available in Australia – the engine will always be operating at its optimal speed.

A 6-speed manual gearbox is also available.

DAILY CAB CHASSIS

The Iveco Daily 45C, 50C and 70C range boasts the many great features of the Daily van with the added convenience of allowing buyers to fit a body to best suit the job. Variants are available in GVMs from car licence 4495kg to 7200kg, allowing for payloads of up to 4700kg depending on the body fitted. Power comes from a 3.0 litre diesel engine with two ratings, a 125kW (170hp) / 430Nm (317lb ft) variant and the class-leading 150kW (205hp) / 470Nm (347lb ft) version – these engines are coupled to either the easy-changing 6-speed synchromesh manual or market-leading 8-Speed full automatic transmission. The models also benefit from the same high quality safety equipment as the vans, four SRS airbags plus Iveco’s top-of-the line ‘ESP 9’ safety package. For greater versatility, cab chassis variants feature 6 wheelbase options from 3000mm to 4750mm, while availability of a PTO on the manual transmission allows the vehicle to also be fitted with sophisticated body types.

DAILY DUAL CAB CHASSIS

If the space to transport a full work crew plus materials is needed, the Daily Cab Chassis has the answer with the 50C and 70C range also providing a number of dual cab variants. The Dual Cab models provide all the great features of their single cab counterparts with the added flexibility of rear seating to accommodate up to four people and payloads of over four tonnes depending on the body fitted. The models are available in a range of GVMs from car licence 4995kg to 6700kg and in a choice of 5 wheelbases from 3450mm to 4750mm. As with single cab variants the Dual Cab models lend themselves to a wide selection of body fitment options to best suit buyers’ needs.

DAILY VAN

Iveco’s award-winning Daily van range comprises the 35S and 50C with models to suit just about every application. Unlike most other vans, the Daily features a truck-like chassis for added durability and strength. At the heart of the range are three powerful, yet fuel efficient diesel engines with class-leading power and torque of up to 150kW (205hp) and 470Nm (347lb ft). Coupled to these is a choice of 6-speed synchromesh manual transmission or market-leading 8-Speed full automatic, delivering seamless power delivery. Safety is also well catered to, with four SRS airbags plus Iveco’s top-of-the line ‘ESP 9’ package which includes Stability Control, Roll-Over Mitigation, Trailer Sway Mitigation, Hill Holder, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Hydraulic Rear Wheel Boost, Hydraulic Fading Compensation and Adaptive Load Control. The Daily is available in a wide variety of GVMs, volume capacities, wheelbase options and with either single or dual wheels.

DAILY WORK-READY TIPPER AND TRAY

Iveco’s convenient work-ready range allows buyers to purchase either a Daily Tipper or Tray model and drive it straight from the dealership showroom to the work site* without delay. The bodies are fitted to Iveco’s popular 50C17 Daily model, with buyers able to choose from a three-way steel tipping body, with both rear and side (left and right) tipping functions, or a steel conventional tray. The Tipper is generously proportioned measuring 3700mm (l) x 2100mm with 400mm sideboards and tailgate, providing an estimated payload of 1500 kg, while the tray provides a huge 4092 mm (l) x 2072 mm cargo area with 400 mm sideboards and tailgate, ensuring there’s plenty of room for materials and equipment. Full headboards are also standard on both models.

DAILY 4X4 SINGLE AND DUAL CAB CHASSIS

Iveco’s Daily 4x4 is a purpose-built light commercial truck with extensive standard off-road equipment ensuring superior performance in the most demanding conditions. Complementing the Daily’s full-time 4x4 system are front, centre and rear differential locks and the tractability of a double low range transfer case providing 24 forward gears including an ultra-low 1:101 final ratio. Other features include high tensile steel chassis and parabolic leaf spring suspension for superior articulation. The Daily 4x4 features the same cabin as the award-winning 4x2 models, offering car-like appointments – so while it’s tough on the outside, inside it’s still comfortable. The truck is suitable for a wide range of recreational and business applications, from outback touring through to emergency service work, as an off-road support vehicle and in mining and forestry work.
