GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITYCOMMUNITY INNOVATION CO-CREATION COUNCILINVITES ALL GTU STUDENTS FOR WORKSHOP ON: OPEN SOURCE BOARDSON 14th & 15th September15, Time: 3:00pm to 6pm

Explore the world of Electronics right from the beginning. Here is a chance to learn the basics of open source boards such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi.Arduino/Genuino UNO is the best board to get started with electronics and coding. If this is your first experience with Arduino, the UNO is the most robust board you can start playing with. The UNO is the most used and documented board of the whole Arduino family.

Similarly, we have Raspberry pi board which is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python. Its capable of doing everything youd expect a desktop computer to do, from browsing the internet and playing high-definition video, to making spreadsheets, word-processing, and playing games. Course Content Arduino (14th Sept. 2015)Time 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
