ing. At this job, I worked alongside legalcounsel to help negotiate the state employ-ees unions contracts. I also assisted themin arbitrations, mediations and with legalresearch
Positives & negatives of your job? A positiveof the job is the freedom that supervisorsgive while working on projects. A negativeof the job is the sometime slow responses
from my supervisors.

What are the positives and negatives of yourprofession? Interacting with people, the frui-
tion of projects coming to life, and the busi-ness constantly changing. A negative wouldbe that the business is constantly changing.
Advice? When managing a team, patienceis a virtue, a present, your best friend, adiamond watch etc. Learning the differentskills and speeds in which your team mem-bers work at can be the difference betweensuccess and failure. Learning these skills
often require patience, understanding andcoaching. Work with your employees, espe-cially when they are still learning the ropes.Things may not always be done right the rsttime, but theres a lot of gratitude that comeswith helping your team grow professionallyand seeing them thrive.

What are the negatives of your profession?Teaching is not considered a reverend pro-fession in the United States. Age of account-ability, students are constantly being tested..
Advice? Consider teaching abroad to learntheir techniques and instructional strategies.
