People still talk about Papa’s stores in Waco. If they are old enough. They all remember.

-JEFF BOZARTH

I never knew. Way cool, Bill.

Haha, Seaman Bozarth... One of many Bozarth’s who have proudly served their country, so that sissies, like me and you

dont have to.-JEFF BOZARTH

You look like you would almost be willing to take orders from your C.O., Bill.

Such a gentleman. And in so many patterns.

This one I can comment on. You’re wearing all white, so it MUST be after Labor Day. And, dear Bill, if you really cared, you would have shaved that cat off of my head right then and there.-J.R. HAYMES

Much of the clothing you see here now resides in the Flannel Hall of Fame! Bill was inducted

many years ago...-J.R. HAYMES

Obviously we were made for formalwear - puffy sleeves and bow-ties will never go out of style.-KELLEY BOZARTH

This reminds me of Bill’s house back when he lived in Waco. I remember going over with my brother Joe for summer days in thier pool. We had so much fun playing with “Uncle Bo” and of course our cousins. My best memory of that house was getting

down on all fours and rough-housing in the living room. Uncle Bo gave me my first lesson in gound and pound.

-JEFF BOZARTH

Well well well... I guess this had to come out at some point. I love that you were a full supporter of me dressing myself, and thus me wearing toy shoes as if that’s a normal thing to do.

These are some of the greatest pictures of you and me, and definitely some wonderful memories :)-ERIN BOZARTH

We have fishes in California.

Come catch them suckers with

me and my boys. (Which means I

don’t know how to catch fish.)

This reminds me of a Christmas in ‘07 when Uncle Bo came back to Waco to see us. I remember asking him about a no name outfielder who was being traded from Cincy to Tex for a pitcher named Edinson Volquez. I asked Bill if the kid could play. He answered, “ OH YEAH, that kid is a sparkplug. He goes all out and can do it all. When healthy he is the total package.” I bet the GM of the Reds wished he had scouts with that kind of an eye for talent. Josh became my favorite player and MVP for the Rangers. Wayne Krivsky (the GM) got fired..-JEFF BOZARTH

I know we don’t get to see each other that often, but every visit - with friends or without - feels like home. I don’t know anyone else with a dad who welcomes them to a campsite with smoked brisket and appletinis :)-KELLEY BOZARTH

Page 40: Dad's 60th

I love that even though it’s not always easy, you and Merlin make the effort to get to us for Christmas...

And bring lots of great food with you when you come...-MEAGEN GRIES

It meant so much to me to have Dad come all the way up from Cincinnati for my graduation :).-ERIN BOZARTH

I’ll write this comment to cover all of the photos of you and your girls over the last 20+ years. You ALWAYS wear that look of pride. It makes me happy to see so many wonderful examples of you enjoying their lives. Well done, Big Daddy!-J.R. HAYMES

They should make a tv show

Keep your eye on it don’t let the fire go out...

Be sure the meat is done in time to slice and serve. When do we eat?

Maybe tonight.

Ok, Jody all you got to do is start the fire.-JOE BOZARTH III

I loved this night. So relaxed and care free and oh man! That food! People are STILL talking about it!

for you....me too.

I remember turning the corner to walk down the isle with you and starting to lose it. And you tried to help me think of something else to hold it together. You started talking about the moon and the eclipse. But when you realized that wasn’t working, you smiled and said “just take it all in, baby.” And I did. Thanks for that :) -MEAGEN GRIES

This might be one of my favorite pictures from that day. I love, that you love, the person I love.

Thank you for making my wedding dreams and beyond come true. I wish I could tell you how much it meant to us...-MEAGEN GRIES

Page 52: Dad's 60th

No doubt these two are related! Great night finally seeing our cousins and meeting Marilyn!! Convincing Uncle Bo to

get out on the dancefloor was a bit of a challenge but it was a great night nonetheless. This picture marks one of those rare

evenings where we gathered as family and realized how blessed we are to have each other.

-BECKY BOZARTH

I love how proud Dad looks of his first born children taking a shot, and I’m so thankful to have someone who’s always there to

help... when I accidentally order 24oz “big stubby.” -KELLEY BOZARTH

Is this where I get to say Happy Birthday? Enjoy every minute, my friend. It is just a number, but it

tells me that I haven’t seen you in too long. I love you. You’ll always be my big brother.

-J.R. HAYMES

I don’t know that we could ever say enough thanks or put into words how happy we hope this birthday

is, but know that we love you and can’t wait to celebrate the next 60 with you.
